I have seen Rudolph’s NFL ceiling and is rather low. He’s a solid backup type no more. Better than Landry Jones. Not as good as Charlie Batch is what I see v
Hodges has a higher NFL ceiling. I’d much rather see if he can fill it My hunch is the wide receivers would much rather play with Duck.

Yes. Rudy doesn't have the arm, and plays it too safe. He's not a runner. What do you expect to change in his NFL Game? What part of his game can you build a passing attack around? Do tell. I don't think you can. He's not playing Big 12 defenses anymore.
Peyton Manning always had the arm, he was just a rookie on a team that won 1 game the year before so nice try. No I would not have cut Manning. Rudy has a winning team around him, we just can't win with him unless we are playing a really bad team. Well he's got a dunce for a head coach, but that is another topic.
I've seen more hope of out Hodges, and he's a rookie who barley got a chance to practice. If we are having a losing season, I want to see both QB's play, not just one who's below par and lacks the starter traits to be the future. How come I can see NFL rookie, and 2nd years QB's that are doing better than Rudy? Rudy just doesn't pass for many yards, now does he? Nope! I'm not saying Hodges will be the future, but I think he brings more raw tools to the table in terms of accuracy, locating the receiver, spreading the football around and running with it.
I guess you forgot the long run by Hodges in that drive, so that make it THREE plays. It wasn't just passes, it was how he scanned the field, and found the open man in stride. I think a point that is dividing the board is some already see the Rudolph is not the future starter. Let's see if Hodges can do better. Winning a road game on the west coast would be a sign he is.
Last year on college Hodges in just 11 games played threw for 32 touchdowns, ran fo 8 touchdowns, completed 70.5% of his passes, and amassed 4.283 yards in the air and ran for 313 on the ground.
Go ahead, say his competition sucks. I agree in a macro sense, HOWEVER he played two SEC teams.
1 ) Georgia in 2017 and finished the game 26-35 for 227 yards, 2 td's, 0 Interceptions with no one offensive player on his team being good enough to be a primary back up on Gerioga's offense.
2 ) The year before they played Mississippi State. Okay, a weaker SEC team. How did he do? Try over 500 total yards, and 4 TD passes in a losing effort.
I think some aren't aware of that. Your thoughts now are?
Ok, enough is enough. If you want to feel like you're an NFL QB guru, and can tell one player is "way better" in barely a quarters worth of play time (when the other team prepped to play the other QB), but it's another thing to completely make **** up.
Hodges was not driving down the field to win the game. The drive was TWO PLAYS. A James conner run, and the pass to Juju. THAT'S IT! TWO PLAYS!

Did i say I was a QB Guru? or Hodges was waay better than Rudolph? I said was he looked much better in the pocket than Rudolph as far as the eye test was concerned. All I said was I don't think Rudolph is our next franchise QB and I want to see more of Hodges because he looked good and Mason ain't taking Ben's job either way.
If he wasn't driving down the field what was he doing? It may be news to you but EVERY drive starts with 2 plays.
]I guess you forgot the long run by Hodges in that drive, so that make it THREE plays.
Thank you good sir.
Can you make Coach smarter while you're at it???
Duck is NOT better than Rudolph at this point. Hell, Rudolph has played better than Ben this year. To hear people say Duck is better, that is a special kind of stupid
Hot hand? 15-20, 132 yards, a TD and an INT isn’t what I’d call a hot hand. Saw an awful lot of the same dump offs and check downs Rudolph throws. Kinda leads me to believe it is the game plan.
Sarge, he won....We're on a streak, & he has the hot hand....ONE IN A ROW
He's more mobile in the pocket BY FAR... Rudolph thus far is a statue in the pocket
Mason ain't all that, at least what I've seen...Dude plays scared and is one read wonder basically....

The eye test...The eye test. Hodges is confident Mason plays scared...
I like Mason, but **** have some balls & is a one read QB at this point.
I wouldn't change ****....Going with the hot hand
