what do you think of local announcers

What would you think about using the local sports guys for the games. Just run the coverage with the local tv guys that cover the game for the home team, get rid of the national guys altogether. I'm out of the area now but is it now Tunch Wolf and Hilgrove that cover the game or are they radio guys and the local tv station has somebody else?

I would think even if they did not have the star power of the national guys they would likely know the home team and divisional players much better than the national hacks.

Local feeds should be an option on Sunday ticket. Not sure if they are on GameDay? Nhl game centre has local feed options.

I don't hate the national guys like some people and many are better than having Edmund Nelson in the booth. Bill and Tunch are radio-only guys.

If there wasn't a delay between TV and radio, I'd listen to Tunch and Hillgrove every game. Just like I prefer Mike Lange to that joker Steigerwald, but the delay is annoying.

I would rather listen to a Cocker Spaniel bark for 3 hours on a broadcast than have to listen to Edmund Nelson every week of the year. He is perhaps the worst commentator in the history of sports.

The NFL doesn't care if fans listen to the national network announcers but they sure as **** care that the fans hear the national network commercials.

When I had TV and Sirus radio, I'd pause my TV for about 2-4seconds. With that I'd synchronize up with the play and the radio station. It was super awesome and couldn't believe how good it was. The local (tunch wolfe etc) had so much more to offer, than those ******** national guys.

I used to do that with Fleming and Cope every game back in the day....but Hillgrove is not one of my fav play-by-play guys..in fact, he has become unlistenable for me.

He used to be decent years ago with Pitt Panther football, but he has been on a steady decline ever since..

Think Tunch does a very good job as the color guy though.

I liked jack flemming. Never really liked hilgrove,, yes I know he is old school Pittsburgh guy. I really enjoy Tunch Ilkin.

Dude is good...when I lived in Ohio I used to listen to him, while working in the yard or out in the garage, hoping for another Brownie loss..
The post game shows were pure entertainment...full Cleve Brownie fan melt down mode..
