Some might be familiar with this phrase.
It's often heard in Three Stooges shorts by women who are offended by something.
Well, I must be a woman in a Three Stooges short ( although I was born AND identify as a male ).
Because, well, I've never.
I've never seen our team in this much disarray.
I've never been so confused at the direction of our team.
I've never been so frustrated with the lack of gameplanning and adjustments.
I've never been so flabbergasted at the moves made by the team.
I've never seen our fanbase this discombobulated and confounded.
I'm not the oldest fan here, and I'm certainly not the youngest.
I was born at the beginning of the 70s dynasty, so I can only recount from the early 80s on.
This season.......this is new to me.
I've previously posted about admitting being late to the party for calling for Tomlin's head.
But now I'm questioning the organization as a whole.
I still think it's a leadership issue, but is that from Rooney? Colbert? Tomlin? A combination? All three?
I'm convinced that Tomlin is at fault in some capacity, but these recent moves have me questioning Colbert and Rooney now.
We've had bad starts before. But I've never felt like I do today in any other previous season.
I don't recognize this version of our Steelers. I have a feeling I've never had before.
And I get it. We're spoiled, beyond spoiled, by the wealth of winning, consistency, and culture we've experienced since 1970.
But WELL I'VE NEVER because I'm offended at the product I'm watching.
This is not the Steelers I'm accustomed to.
And this is not being "Get off my lawn!" refuse to go with the change guy.
This is a new feeling to me, a first in my Steeler fandom.
