Report: Former first-round QB Lynch visiting Steelers

Lynch is just the guy on the ps for now. .... So I guess my point is, let's be glad the guy they grabbed is a somewhat experienced, unpolarizing guy that will be wearing sweats on game day.

Don't be so quick to think he is staying on the PS. Duck is on the 53 because he did well in PS and knows the system better than anyone at this time. It would not shock me in the least if in a couple of weeks Duck is back to the PS and Pax is on the 53. I'm not saying that will happen, but saying it is a real possibility. Give it a few weeks to see what happens.

That could very well happen. I'm just thinking if at this point, Lynch or Duck having to start would be a major downturn in our season, more so than going from Ben to Mason. So that said, it just doesn't matter very much who they sign as a #3 QB 3 weeks into the regular season.

absolutely.

I remember there was a lot of Buzz here when Lynch was in the draft. A ton of people wanted him (Coach).

I personally liked his size, and thought he was accurate enough in college to take a serious look at him. The Steelers liked him and that wasn't a surprise, so to get him for nothing, and let him hang on the PS is a coup IMHO.

I'll admit that I wanted to draft him. Denver took him after we took Burns. And I'll admit that when we were on the clock, I was hoping we'd take Myles Jack.

Leveon was tripping out on Twitter that we should take Myles Jack. It would have been a wasted pick for the first year while he recovered but today you can say it would have been a better long view pick.

Been too many first round busts. Guess that's the justification for trading for Minka

Who are you trying to fool?

Lynch couldn't even win a backup job i watched him play a few times and don't have much hope.

Well a PS look isn't a big gamble, so we'll see...........
