Ahhhhh what a fun find for any Steelers fan.......from Monday Night Football Oct 22nd 1979 vs Denver. The commentary is classic for it's time....they made announcing fun.

Just watch it and think about how the game has evolved......watch the officiating many times the lack of it.....so many great Steelers playing......Bradshaw, Swann, Stallworth, Harris, Blier,, Kolb, Webster, Mean Joe, Ham, Lambert, Shell, Blount........Just was a different game....but so much fun....this was a time where the NFL was evolving into a more pass oriented game....you saw young QB's like Dan Fouts starting to change the way the game was played......

Thanks for posting this. After the couple weeks we have had this should almost be mandatory viewing. Put me in a better place. Game was 5 days after the bucs won the series. Great halftime interview with Buckner and Big daddy.

You forget what a gun TB had sometimes. Franco has a Great game. It sure was a tough time to be a WR,you get smacked. Lambert smashes a WR with an elbow to the head crossing the middle. Donnie Shell,Jack Ham.LC,what a team! Watch it.

PS. Few good commercials too.....you could buy a muzzler from sears auto for 17.99$

I, a young bon vivant 28 year old, was at that game (and many others), with two of my brothers. We had another brother who worked for TRS so Steeler and Pirate games at TRS were always a family thing. Our one brother passed a couple of years ago so thanks for the wonderful memories. Man the ‘70’s were a decade!

I watched that game at a friends house and oh man did we hoot & holler. We were both steelers fans and he had three sister who were PRETTY HOt Hot HOT !!!!!!
