Tomlin, Mongrief,Chickillo, and Butler gets my call. Ok throwing Switz in there too.

This team truly needs a shake up. Blown away in first game and came out flat on offense. Some of these specialty coaches have no idea of technique with the poor tackling and these receiver routes are very questionable.
Guarantee you Butler becomes the sacrificial lamb if this year goes down the drain and then the next DC won't fix anything either....
Ok how on earth does Butler get fired, but not Tomlin. Of course he should be fired. He should have been fired last year, which is why Tomlin should be fired.

Tomlin should have been fired after the Jax playoff game. But you're absolutely right... .if Butler gets fired Tomlin should be next. Tomlin adds nothing you can't find elsewhere.

Davis came back and even though he really hasn't practiced at all (even in camp), he shored up the secondary much better than last week.
The ILB's seem to not know how far to cover TE's. On consecutive plays, Barron and then Bush (for the TE) basically got close to the TE coming toward them and then slowed down like they thought a safety would pick the TE up. I think that is one of those "communication" issues and I think the ILB's should have engaged the TE in both instances. If they would have, I think at least one of the two easy completions doesn't happen. But, unfortunately, they both pulled up and let the TE go and the S in both cases was still too far away to stop the completions.

So far every RB has beat him to the flat. Usually picking up or so it seems 8 or 9 yards a pop.

If Ben is out for any sort of extended period the season is already over. I would cut Moncrief and Switzer yesterday. Chick goes to IR and no way does Dupree get any sort of contract offer. Let him play out the year or better yet, share reps. Butler is gone...the sooner, the better.

I totally disagree with you on Edmunds. Grimble would be ok as a third. Burns who knows so far this year we will see. Davis disagree mostly. DUpree has shown some fight but not for what he will be worth, hold until the end. Moncief yeah three times over he needs gone. Butler yes, Tomlin not during a season.
Why not during the season? Do you think he will somehow magically grow a brain between now and January?
Why in hell is our team so unprepared for the game to be played. High school teams tackle better than the Steelers. Secondary sucks, nobody covering the middle of the field, letting Wilson run free on third and long.

Class, simply for class. If we are going to make a change do it after the season. I doubt we do if Ben is out long.
