Tuzar claimed by Giants.

i think the "butler sucks" movement is nonsense. I am not defending him but Coach cool shades finger prints are all over this D. I am not sure how much Butler is allowed to do. Tomlin has ruined the organization and the Rooneys let it happen.

No wonder Tomlin is questioned for everything he does. Just a blame dumb move once more. You see this kid does have potential and I would even like work in progress and yet Tomlin continue to let Burns on this team.

Clearly the fucktards were planning on bringing him back as they just signed Jayrone Elliott to fill the spot.

I blame Keith Butler.

Why, it's not his defense? Every media outlet in the Burgh and even ESPN have widely reported that this is Tomlin's defense. When does he get held accountable for a scheme that will NEVER work. Maybe we need to bring in a coaching consultant every week.

Flush them all, Tomlin's coaching tree sucks, none of his assistants are NFL caliber, the offense is back to reshuffling Todd Haley's plays and the defense is always playing last years teams.

Clean house, if the Rooney's had a hair on their *** they never would have extended Tomlin.

Jeez, you guys need to learn the Steelers way under Tomlin: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it. If it's a little dinged, ignore it. If it's totally ****** up, just keep doing the same thing and hope nobody notices."

If it doesn't work, it's lack of execution, obviously.

Well get rid of Butler regardless and find someone who does a better job implementing and calling Tomlin's defense. If it's his D, then Tomlin should come out and own it, embrace it, and go down in flames with it, if there's no improvement.

And here is my real concern about letting Skipper go - pass rushing is a skill that can be seen against good, bad and indifferent competition. Speed to the corner, the turn, body bend, the correct angle to the QB, the feel for continuing upfield when the QB climbs the pocket. Some guys have that skill. Skipper looked like he had that skill. He got to the corner NOW, turned the corner, had very good bend, a good feel for where the QB was.

Will a top-end tackle nullify him? Sure, maybe.

But one ******* thing we know as sure as the sun rises in the east and sets in the west: Durpee does not have those pass rushing skills. He speed rushes without effect, is absolutely stoned on his bull rush. He is not improving. He is who he is, and that is NOT a good pass rusher.

But he, Buddy, had the ONLY sack on the team. Go figure.

Maybe, just maybe, we (especially me) underestimated the strength of the *'s OL??? But, fack it, we, the fans know EXACTLY what's going on...

Gentry was the choice to waive. No one wants him and he was inactive. Skipper had promise, but so does Gilbert and Ola (who are both rightfully above him). I just don't know why Chickillo has a roster spot. That guy does less than nothing...

I'm bummed about Skipper too, I really thought we could sneak him through waivers. We still have quality depth at the position at least. About Gentry, I get why we've kept him, but we didn't utilize our TE's last game hardly at all. If that was the plan then I agree, Gentry would be the guy you try to sneak through. Still scratching my head as to why we didn't get McDonald involved in the game plan, and why we didn't use any motion to make NE declare their defense. We just went straight up and walked into a buzz-saw.

Chickillo? Because apparently nobody else can see the field, given Chickillo's dominating performances.

PS **** you Tomlin.

Its maddening how our coaches are unable to recognize, attain, develop and implement talented players. The good ones are let go despite their obvious superiority while scrubs are retained and talked up. It's so bass-ackwards it defies logic. Skipper had promise and the Giants recognized it and snatched him up. We should regret that ineptitude.
