Donte Moncrief - Ike Mongrief - Hands that work like feet

It takes a lot more than one ****** wide receiver to lose 33-3... just saying

Where do you see anyone putting the whole loss on him? That's not the point. The point is he was ESPECIALLY trash tonight, even if the rest of the team was also trash. He was so much trash he deserved his own thread and honestly I would not invite him back for the rest of the season if I were this staff

Without question but so far he has fumbled on a short pass, in the preseason and dropped three easy passes int eh regular season including a TD that at least would have gotten them going. Yet he was the starter. Yet Bud Dupree does zero, ****** less than zero but we will not even look at Ola.

The thread is about Moncrief. A gutless **** who drops catchable balls is a big ingredient. You need playmakers to win in the NFL, not chokers. Just saying.
Okay, Moncrief sucks. Who would you suggest replaces him that makes up 30 points? I'm suggesting that the Steelers might have more than just one problem.

The point is, two terrible things became evident tonight.

1) The team NEEDED a guy that was going to exploit single coverage when JuJu was doubled. Moncrief is NOT going to exploit a busted play where the DB falls down and breaks both his legs and the ball hits Mongrief (That's MINE! Consider it coined!) in the hands.

2) JuJu is NOT going to draw a double. Teams will put their best guy on him and wait to see if the Steelers force them to make a change.

And fyi, right now it aint lookin' like the Steelers are going to force ****.

Butterfingers should sponsor that guy

I didn't think anybody could be worse and softer than Justin Hunter, but I was wrong again.

Id give him one more shot and thats it. 5 drops in one game is pretty unreal. Especially since they were not hard catches. Hopefully he gets his head on straight.

You are right Stevie. Moncrief catches all three passes they get 4 more points. But still. how do you feel about him moving forward?

So if a man has treatable cancer, and a dog starts chewing on his leg, he should just ignore the dog?

Moncrief with 2 easy drops I saw - one on 4th and 1 and one in the EZ for a TD. No excuse on either. So, do we now try Washington as No. 2 or is he No. 6 since that is how they started the game. No idea why in most of the first half and even in the 2nd half, Holton was in instead of Washington. Our lineup now should probably be JuJu, Washington, Johnson, Switzer and Moncrief until he proves he can catch the damn ball. Was dropping the ball a problem he had before or is this left over (like Sammie Coates I believe) from the mangled fingers in camp?

Oh, an they didn't even try to use MacDonald. The only time I saw him run any type of pass route was when they lined him up outside. If he lines up inside, he is blocking. Take note to the other teams we play this year.

Should call him Monthief because he is stealing whatever money the Steelers are paying him.

Moncrief didnt cost us 30 points, but his drops led to lower percentage plays being called. His drops killed drives, resulting in us having to play desperate...on a night when the ***s were blowing themselves left and right. Cheating or not (cheating, most likely), they were eons better than we were on both sides of the ball. We have a long way to go to get to their level and having a WR rostered who doesn't have thumbs or a heart is not going to get us up that hill any quicker.

I wonder what Oakland would take for Tyrell Williams if they answered our call.

I only saw his drop on 3rd down and the TD drop, in both he looked weak handed. Any decent WR would have kept both, perfectly placed passes where he had the advantage against the defender

all 5 of his drops were the same, weak hands and letting the ball get through to his body. Then totally ****** up the route in the endzone.
