Official Prediction Thread -- Steelers/Pat's*

Steelers beating the pats* on Sunday Night Football on my Birthday would be a great gift!! So with that said, as a gift for myself.... my official prediction....

My original first instinct prediction was 27-17 pats*.

There are reasons why they could. But to beat the cheats at home is no easy task.

Here is some reasons to help yinz find a few.


1 Ben's early interaction with the WRs that lead back to mini camp. A step up from years past.
2.cheats have two new linemen starting.
3. Steelers have better speed on D.Better overall talent.
4.Drake is a motivational factor.
5.Hardly anybody is expecting them to win, which could be a motivational factor too. Steelers tend to play down to competion, but play better against the better teams usually.
6 Ernie Adams doesn't have the new years signals down..yet

Reasons why the Steelers could lose.

1 There are in the cheaters factory of cameras and listening devices and Ernie is still employed.
2 Steelers love them some slow out of the gates.
3 Head coach decision making. Which tends to be bad at certain times at inopportune moments.

agreed, BUT unfortunately the steelers had had plenty of reasons to win in the past yet fail to do so.
 
Very tough to predict. If the Steelers play the soft zone and let Brady stay clean and comfortable, we lose, and probably by a lot. If the Steelers play the receivers tight (hint: don't let Vince Williams cover Edelman) and get after Brady, we have a great chance.

Don't forget the Patriots will run the ball if you let them. Hopefully we don't get screwed by the refs too badly, and hopefully the coaching mismatch isn't the difference.

I'll say Steelers, 31-24.
 
Both teams generally start the season slow so no reason to believe any different. Shouldn’t be much scoring but must give edge to the Cheats.
Belichick trumps Tomlin and Cheats defense better than most think. Plus Ben needs to build rapport with Moncreif,JWash, and D. Johnson. JuJu must come up big tonight for any chance on offense and JConn and JSam must have solid games.
We don’t know what we have in Steven Nelson and you have a starting safety that’s never played in the NFL.

I am concerned Ben didn't get enough preseason work in, we will see.
 
First year I am totally streaming and really want to watch this game. I can listen live, but not watch. Anyone know of a live stream? If not, I will have to wait till game is over to watch so I may just take a nap and have a late night watching.
