AB just asked Raiders to release him (and the Raiders Release him)

I would say more important then getting Johnson, who may have been there anyhow, they got draft capital to move up and get Devin Bush. If Bush becomes a star and Rudolph a long term starter, it could be one of the greatest fleece of all time.
 
With AJ Green hurt maybe Cincy.
 
After what Julio Jones just signed for does anyone doubt Mr. big head will now want the same money? Forget the Patriots, thanks to the Jones deal they now won't come close to what some desperate team will offer him.

I think brown was blindsided. He apologized. He would not do this if his exit plan was release me.

Something changed . I think the Raiders said you’re out then Brown posted on social media saying release me.

That is the big one for me. Literally anyone could sign him to a week to week contract. But if you give him guaranteed money you are well beyond buyer beware. We are talking you are buying a desert and hoping it will become Las Vegas.

So, point of legal clarification?
Does AB still owe the fine money to the Raiders?
Does he owe it if he gets another contract with a new team?

bb trying to save his job and has already mortgaged the future for a tackle....so why not add a headache like ab
 
You KNOW TB12 is salivating at the prospect of having him. They will draw up some escape clause in the contract. TB12 who just got a new contract will make some concession. Brown will eyeball that Lombardi prospect. It could really happen.

Im not saying it is impossible. At this point almost anything is possible other than Pittsburgh or Oakland. However, schematically he isn't a good fit. Brady needs you there when he expects you there. First time he ate his teeth cause AB was being AB would be the last time.
 
The owners need to wash the sand out of their eyes and see what this action can be with all the guaranteed contracts
