Raiders fine Antonio Brown, AB rips them on Instagram

Antonio Brown is redefining the meaning of his NFL career as a Raider. on social media .......Not For Long

Mike Mayock approves this message

I read the article as AB posted the note on Twitter and it was not made public by the team. In fact, I would bet that a team posting fines publicly would be subject to some non-disclosure violations of their own. Just because the Steelers didn't announce fine or other discipline, doesn't mean it didn't happen. Several reports over the last year suggested they did do similar things. Assclown just didn't tweet them out loud..

It also doesn't mean it did happen. We know from what players have told us that AB was allowed to do whatever he wanted. I don't know what "reports" say otherwise but I haven't seen them and AB never said a word about it. The fact that he was allowed to skip practice and come in when he wanted tells me he wasn't being fined. He sure wouldn't have kept quiet about it.

Steelers first discipline of AB and he wanted a fuking trade.

Raiders discipline him before he plays a down.

This ain't going to end well in Oak Land...

The simple fact that during Training Camp, the one time of year where team members are forced to bond and survive a grueling physical marathon, AB was allowed to stay at a condo off-site and get chauffeured to and from practice each day.

One wonders how CMVLT managed to impose the curfew rule on Brown in that situation...

thanks for posting and all I can say is the show is entertaining but getting OLD. At least the Raiders have the nads to dicipline him and publicly if need be. That was something our staff failed to do thus contributing to the monster he has become. WHAT A ******* LOSER aclown is becoming and he can'tr communicate worth a ****.

**** all that pertains to aclown

Hold up Drink, it was discussed by a couple of former GMs that just because a player gets a fine letter, it doesn’t necessarily mean the club enforces it. It just a legal document stipulated by the CBA to protect the club in the event of a player’s dispute. GMs will notify a player of a fine, but the club may or may not enforce it based on the circumstances. Having said that, Mayock is definitely tired of AB’s routine and he is moving the situation as the CBA requires...in the event of a team suspension.

I know some of the vibe about Tomlin was he was too lenient on AB, but the writers and some players have commented in the past Tomlin dishes out team fines without hesitation....including AB. The FB stunt he was fined specifically, but Colbert doesn’t disclose internal discipline.

I’m tired of hearing about him, but it’s news for the “entertainment business”.

All the discipline in the world is going to do nothing for Antonio Brown. You are sane people...it would perhaps change you...but Brown just isn't sane.

Maybe we should look at this differently. Maybe we should praise Tomlin and the Steelers for keeping a lid on it and keeping the team in the hunt for the time he was here, at least until the very end.

If AB wasn't punished and allowed to do what he wanted, you can see what the Steelers gave him leeway for the way he was acting. Sometimes its easier to let one guy do his thing for the better of the whole. What a clown.

He has 30 days to turn himself in for the indictment. After that NFL security can conduct their own investigation, but probably will wait until the prosecutor evidence is admitted.

I think he has already pled not guilty and his next court date is in Nov.

no, it does not mean it happened. I agree with that statement. I can only tell you I read a few reports that stated he did get fined for missed meetings. I can not vouch for the veracity of such statements. None of us really know what happened behind closed doors. What we do know is that AB is out of control. It will certainly be interesting to see if Gruden/Mayock are able to bring him back down.

I tried putting ABs reply into Google translate and got nothing. It makes less sense than "cash me outside, how bow dah..." (Search Dr. Phil). He does seem unhappy though. I really am starting to think as others have suggested: too many blows to the head. I was mad when they gave up the 3rd and 5th. Now I am delighted.

I couldn't help but notice the Raiders waited until AFTER the last episode of Hard Knocks to send Brown the letter. ;- ) Don't want COMPLETE transparency there, fellas?

Please remember that AB said the next team had to pay up AND he was doing it HIS way. I guess Gruden and Co. are getting a bit of taste of this now! I want to keep seeing Gruden with that **** eating grin on his face as he is forced to suck ABs dick to keep him happy! This is no doubt going to be fun to watch.

I’m sure glad he’s not our problem any longer. Mr.Big Chest me thinks will become a multiple team guy with each team thinking they can fix him. He won’t stay long in Oak Land as Cope calls it, then it will be off to the next sucker team.

Terrell Owens part deux (but probably even crazier)

Once more, Brown never wanted to leave the Steelers. He wanted the attention and to force them into making him the highest paid wr again... when he realized they were actually shopping him he tried to tank his trade value...

His actions in Oakland are possibly attention whoring but he could be trying to get cut too...

I think Bell and he both overplayed their hands and lost out on what they really wanted... all the dramatics from him seems like he has an agenda... maybe it is just keeping his name in the news cycle.. but maybe there is more to it... maybe he wants to show up the Steelers by going to a rival or winner now that the reality that the Steelers seem fine without him has sunk in...

I've Said it several time, Someone close to him needs to get a. Full evolution of his health....HEAD to TOE. Maybe even legally declared incompetent if need be. His actions are not sane and a case Could be made possibly. If he cooperated and just went in it would be for the better. Us fans don't have full privy to him so maybe his just that unbearable ******* that always seems to be around.

Just imagined what this mfer was doing every week with the Steelers. They kept it private until the very end. That one blowup he had with Ben in practice set him off. Imagine all of the tongue biting the Steelers did before that. The other players on the team had to watch this crap weekly. Remember how relaxed Brown looked when he went live on Facebook in the Steeler locker room? He had been doing stupid **** all along..

Ryan Clark always alluded to the fact that there is a lot about AB that the public didn't know. Who knew the Steelers were covering for him?

And Steelhurt, we already know he won't be in Oak Land next year, since they'll all be in Veg ***!!

And I've never heard of anyone becoming a more calm, better person, from going to Vegas...

Maybe Brown shoulda worked harder on being Ben's friend?

You mean a "check up from the neck up"?
Brown is crazy, end of story.
Once that fact is established, his aberrant behavior is understandable. I'm not a professional but he acts like someone who is bipolar. I would say he is a paranoid schizophrenic but I don't know if he has hallucinations.
Either way if he is medicated for a mental disorder, I wonder if he could continue to play football?

Yep, Clark said after AB was given big money in 2012 he started acting like an ***, way before the Burfict hit. Clark said someone on defense hit him in training camp, and AB started yelling at LeBeau, saying "you're not allowed to hit me, I'm the franchise"
