By G.Stryker SteelerNation.com Ryan Swtizer was an undersized, but productive receiver and returner in college.* At 5’8” and 181 pounds, he didn’t let his small, stocky stature hold him back.* His quickness and athleticism had him improving in receptions and yards all four seasons at the University of North Carolina.* He finished his senior season […]

It is definately going to be interesting as to who makes the WR group. I still think Eli has an uphill battle but then again I'm not seeing these guys on a daily basis either.

NICE write up "G" and well worth the read.

Solid writeup G money.

If I were he I would be practicing /sharpening the stone on returns.

Because that could lock him in for another year. When showing you are stable and productive in one area it can make you stick longer than some anticipate.

Carve out a niche, and switz army knife stay awhile...................

I could be wrong but I think our new DJ will tie up the return specialist duties. It's a nice problem to have, two players with great skills in that department. TC is for competition and that brings out most every bodies A-game, so we will see. I'm not favored to either one I just want the BEST ability one.

And if he gets beat out by DJ on the returns, he better hope he can beat out Spencer and Eli on the field. Damn good competition this year at WR.

Personally, I'd ride w/ Switzer in the slot. The kid is fearless and he generally catches everything thrown his way...excellent attitude - nice role model...
