And I have to say: short of Barkley, Zeke is the best RB out there. He has it all, including a 5th gear that Bell never had. Zeke can bust it for a TD from anywhere.

Plus BB's argument about overpaid is dumb/ If he was overpaid the team could WANT to redo the contract, but would have no leverage with which to do so. They'd be stuck with what they signed. They might cut him, but would, likely, suffer cap issues because if it. As a rookie contract, that wouldn't be a big deal, but they'd lose a player for which they are unlikely to get recompense.

I agree Sask and that will be addressed upon the new deal. Be prepared fore a strike year as there are a lot of things the players want addressed.

What can't you grasp? If he was on a contract and underperforming, the team would make him sign a new deal for less. If he's greatly outperforming his current deal, you
give him a more fair deal. It has to go both ways. Zeke has been on his slave contract for 3 years now. Enough is enough.

that's what I was saying the other day, in DD#2's thread about 2nd contracts for RB's.. In the upcoming CBA the NFLPA needs to address the rookie contracts for RB's.
