Ask Drunk Cope 6/27/19

I always figured Cope for a peeker.

Cope, how many turnovers you think the defense can get this year and will we have a positive turnover differential?

I love Presidente, but I don't know of potnency over Heine. I lived on Presidente when I was in the Dominican Repubilc earlier this year. Had them deliver it by the case to my room. Would hit about 10-15 a day. I guess my Blood Alcohol Content kept me alive while I was there...

You're a stud...I had two tonight and about 4 Tito's...I'm slathered...or so, my wife says!!!

I know we need 35 to be superbowl caliber, and we've been under 20 for a while, but I'd be happy breaking 25 this year and ecstatic if we break 30. If we're _+10 we're in the playoffs.

Sounds like a great night! I got to watch the lighting bugs come up on the back porch while I worked on this thread tonight. Now I'm drinking a Troegs. The Effigy I had was a bomber (3 beers). So I'm donig well as well!

I think we near 30 as well but think a little higher on the turn over ratio, a +15. Ben and the "O" will be noticeably more efficient on the turn over department.

GREAT thread Cope !

Cope, Do you see CMVLT being noticeably better in these areas

1). Use of the red flag
2) Personel changes per situation
3). Less 2DL sets

Hi guys,

Finished up the podcast, and have to get my knee looked out. Probably an MRI today.

I'll be back on after I put my daughter to bed at 8pm, so start posting your questions and we'll grab a beer and finish the discussion tonight.

Cope has a knee, oy vey

1) Yes, Nowhere to go but up, and he's got help this year.
2) I never saw this as a negative, but injuries can limit what you can do personnel wise. Fichtner has shown, he's not afraid to put anyone on the field at any time, so I'm looking forward to that on O. On D it will come down to the $B/ Dollar usage.
3) I sure as **** hope so...

1) I would never use beer to clean a grill, only to lubricate the griller. I hate outdoor grills with a passion. It's fun to cook on them, but damn does mother nature kick the **** out of them. You're lucky to have one last 3 years in humid climates. That's why everyone has to figure out how to get rust off of their grill, then end up cooking on it anyway, so you're eating broken down metal...

I love outdoor grills. Grill burgers, steaks, chicken, kielbasa all the time outdoors.

Use this and a little water to clean the grill:

Keep the cleaning pad wet. No need to overpower the pad when cleaning - just run it up and down the grill, and it will be clean.

can you use those on cast iron grates?

4. In-game adjustments, even if only at half-time. I have it up to here with this pathetic element.

I didn't find it pathetic last year. Our offense was the most diverse we've had in personnel usage. Defensive side was maddening, but we were stuck with the players we had due to injury and inexperience. Fortunately we have a nice upgrade at ILB this year and that will help out our TE/RB coverage tremendously.

Do you have to smoke the GANga first or is it majic as is??????

I've used that product Steeltime and it does work pretty well but there is just something about blowing things up on the grill..........

FWIW - I cleaned my stainless grill a little bit ago. Heat and a little moisture and the wire brush takes it off. Metal has small pores that expand when hot; when the metal cools the pores "grab" stuff on the grill like bits of food. That is why cold meat sticks to a hot pan/grill when you first put it on. The pores closed up but if you leave it alone the metal heats back up and the pores expand which releases the food. So, reheat the grill to open up those micro pores, spray on some water and hit it with the wire brush. The best part is I got to drink the beer instead of clean with it.

And I've already passed my estimated return date. It's like I'm on the injury spreadsheet this year...

We will see you likely for the Rams game. Haven't made any travel plans yet but they're quickly formulating. AT SF, AT SD, AT AZ & v LAR. That's my ideal set of games for this season.
