Honestly, there were warning signs there. The locker room speech video was a red flag. The Gatorade jug throw, then the chucking **** out of the window and almost seriously hurting a kid. All the babies with all the mamas. But I thought the guy was one of the best Steelers ever. Work ethic, colorful character with a great smile. He was the face of the franchise. Now he is gone. And if you would have told me this even 7 months ago. Never would have believed it. So you can say superstition all you want. Who wants Juju on the cover? I will take a big passer on that one.

I suspect that there were plenty more things that stayed within the practice field or locker room that we don't know about. But Pat Kirwan once said on the radio regarding Gruden handling knuckleheads (before the trade happened) something to the effect of, "There isn't a HC in the league who doesn't have a huge ego and they all think they can handle a problem player."

I am not superstitious, but I would really enjoy seeing Oakland on the cover of Madden this year. It can't hurt my desire to see AB implode on the left coast.

N-I-C-E write up "G" and I thank you. There is a lot of evidence towards the madden curse and with that I DON"T EVER WANT TO SEE ANYTHING STEELERS ON THAT #@%^&* COVER. Ab was a problem child brewing to explosion and it just happened to be the year his pic was on the cover but still the curse claims ALL men, in one form or another. Last year t*mmy b*y and it appears as if nothing happened but behind the scenes he now gets to have Pops, DAILY, is that not a curse (minus the 142 seconds)...................?

Salute the nation

The only curse the Steelers had was going all diva daytime soap opera.

The curse is real. It's played out time and time again.

troyt was finished after he split with fitz so for us we should not vote anyof our guys

No, no curse........Stupidity hit the Steelers hard.....

Again, not superstitious. Our problems started (with AB) way back when Wallace, AB, and Sanders called themselves the "Young Money Crew"...

I truly hope we find high character players moving forward who don't need to be so flashy w/ their lifestyles.

But, eh, we can always do the normal thing - BLAME Coach Tomlin!!!
