Can Buggs beat the oaktree?

He doesn't need to beat out shadetree as LT Walton opened up a spot. He just has to perform good enough they want to keep him. LAst years product was a college backup, and Buggs was a starter and a highly productive one. Their college is the only thing similar in comparison.

yes He is big and physical if you want to use dan he is only going to do well in 4 man fronts or if solid stars like heyward and tuitt are next to him, if his with say just Tyson he is not going to look good big dan needs to be in a solid 3-3-5 to have a impact so I think Isiah can beat him.

Big Dan is from my part of the world so I have always rooted for him. However, I watched him at camp a few seasons back and the very first thing I noticed is he does not get off the blocker left or right. In other words, he just isn't suited to playing 2 gaps like a 3-4 DL is often asked to do. I think he would be better in a 4-3 as a tilted NT to crash the Center and plug the A gap. As big as he is, he very likely draws a Double team (at least initially) from the OG.

I am still rooting for the guy, but ever since I saw him in camp I knew his limited lateral movement would be a liability for him. I think Suggs is going to take his spot if it comes down to those two.

Egad what a typo!

Buggs is certainly a lot better than Frazier. I never understood the Frazier pick or the faith some fans seemed to put in him. I know Alabama was loaded on the line, but I think it is fair to expect a guy to be good enough to start in college if he is going to make a pro roster.

For the most part. But the Brady and the Sweet Titties of the NFL succeeded despite their college troubles. Again I realize this is a rarity in comparison.

Ugh I hate to give lady props, I feel dirty.

Brady's problem at Michigan was mostly a coaching staff that insisted on believing Drew Henson's hype rather than just letting the better quarterback play and he still had a much bigger impact in college than Frazier.

BIG Dan should have been off the team before Big titties......................................... If it comes down to Big Dan & Buggs, Buggs takes that battle. I'm all for it as Dan has shown us his max and bugs is better than that with ceiling to go.

Salute the nation

He can play well for like 2 plays. Feet are in cement.

I didnt know who the oaktree was.

nobody does,, he makes **** up as he goes

Black and Gold Blubber, thanks for such a solid contribution to content, per always. If you were a house, your existence would bring the entire value of all the other homes in the neighborhood down.

You're that **** shanty with 3 satellite dishes and windows covered with cardboard.

frazier was picked b/c the dl coach liked him from their time at bama. turns out he lacks the skill set and even maybe knowledge to handle nfl play book as I saw Frazier retired and became a minister

I hear you picked bob for a user name because you like bobbing on knobs, ******

We got some real tough guys (who have to hide when spewing their colorful rhetoric).

I don't get the connection... So because he retired and became a minister that means he isn't smart enough to handle an NFL playbook?

he barley could get on the field he was just very liked by our dl coach from what I read his heart was just not fully into the game to grind it out.
Mcullers played a lot with the 3rd string I barley saw him with the 3rd team must be lack of motivation and issues learning the playbook if you played at bama and could not beat out some of the scrub dl's we had on our 3rd string team.
