If you remember Ben's early years, the Oline was not very good. Ben was made to scramble for his life and made plays on the run better than any QB in the league. Rivers, although I really like him, plays with cement shoes on. His mobility is his major weakness. would have had to change offenses if Rivers was our QB. It would be interesting.

Agreed....

however he also had years were the O-Line was adequate to above average and the Steelers fell short, with very high expectations.....

Like last year for example and several other seasons previously...

AND,..... We're those years that BEN played inadequately ???? LAST year he led the league in passing, another year he CO-lead the league. I could go season by season but no time to do so but I'd bet the majority of time(s), it wasn't due to BEN's inadequate play.

Salute the nation

Am I the only ******* person that remembers the Olines we had in 2008 and 2010? Rivers would've gotten killed behind that line.
Just maybe the talent we've had at WR actually has something to do with the Ben?
2005 Ben saves our super bowl run making a tackle, then makes several big plays in the Super Bowl that don't show up on the stats sheet.

Like when the D gave up 5 4th quarter leads? Twice giving up double digit points in the 4th quarter to Oakland and Cleveland?
