I know Korza and Marczi are getting beat up by the some local writers, but this was a interesting posit.

I think TJ has a great chance to break Deebo’s record with the inside coverage backers we have now.

As explained, with Barron and Bush, the idea is to give the predominate coverage duties to them. So as to leave TJ and Bud more freedom to provide pressure up front.

I think he will at least tie it and I'd give him better than 50:50 odds that he breaks it. I can see him approaching 20 if he is allowed to rush the passer most of the time. Bud is supposedly decent in dropping into coverage and he isn't getting the sacks so make that more of a permanent thing. Let Watt rush almost exclusively.

Who really cares? If TJ breaks single season sack record and we go 8-8, color me fart.

I think you're allready colored fart, how about some tart???

Salute the nation

There is a chance this could happen. Watt improved a bit last year. Didn’t his brother take 3 seasons to become an all pro?

I don't think so. He put up 20.5 sacks in his 2nd season.

And, while brothers, they are not very similar players. JJ is way bigger. TJ gets beat away easily by bigger dudes. JJ can run right through most anyone.

Not that TJ isn't a great OLB and great draft pick, just different.

They play two different positions. So comparing them is silly.

Not even sure what the hell you are trying to say here.

TJ is the one attacking, so the ones who get beat are the people he is approaching. If you are trying to say he has a hard time getting off blocks, I call bullshit.

One of the things they loved about TJ was his heavy/strong hands when he was drafted. And that has stayed true to form.

Subject has been reviewed a lot but his coverage responsibilities hold his sacks back more than anyone else he faces.

He is primed for a special season. Wait for it.

Watt had a huge season last year, his 2nd in the league. I still think he will improve. He had 13 sacks, 21 QB hits, 6 forced fumbles all-the-while dropping into coverage way more than they should ever have him dropping. 15+ sack seasons are definitely in his future and hopefully this year.

I highly suggest putting Watt on the other team's fastest WR.. they'll never see it coming...
