I guess it proves a lot of draft success is just luck. The very same "brains" who chose 2016 draft also made the 2017 picks, and in roughly the same draft position (2017 was 5 picks lower), but what a difference.

2016

Burns - total bust, terrible, might be cut this season, was useless last year. PFR found him as the worst starting CB in the NFL.
Sean Davis - Keeping his job, but one of the worst safeties in the league.
Hargrave - worth a 3rd. Not the 4 x 4 we need, but can shine at times.
Hawkins - not fully known yet
Feeney - out of NFL
Ayers - never did jack
Big Red - OK for a 7th pick, never will be starter material

2017

TJ - stud
JuJu - stud
Sutton - don't know yet, could still be decent
Conners - current starter and pretty good
Dobbs - took a shot, still has room to develop
Allen - nothing
Holba - didn't make team
Adams - just got cut, never did anything

I know you are new here but we have a guy named coach that posts here that would love this post. over the last year or so, he has almost said the exact thing about the 2016 draft. like exact. my guess is you guys are going to liking each others posts by the minute when he comes back.

Hey Booby, how about that 2013 draft where we took Le'Veon Bell over Eddie Lacy?

You can tell in 2017 they made a conscious effort to take high character, high effort, high work ethic, high intelligence, good attitude guys. That draft marked a cultural shift that reached its climax with AB and Le’Veon being shipped out. I imagine they have now realized those characteristics need to factor in much higher in the draft board than it did in the past

Did T.J. Watt make the Pro Bowl last season? If so, you got 3 guys who are not only contributors but Pro Bowl players. I've read that if you get two contributors and at least one role player, you had a good draft. So 2017 is definitely looking like a good draft.

That was great, I actually called it. Of course, it ended up being moot.

Supe this confirms it! Coolie’s pansy *** won’t do it! We should then put up bets on his next name oh but wait he’s got two more ready to go.
Obviously Cooch is well ahead of the curve.
