I'm excited about both these guys too but one MAJOR thing holds me back,..............our inability of the coaching staff. 2 DL sets won't help any starter yet alone either one of these rookies. Who is our DC by the way????

Buggs will be an asset by end of training camp and Smith is on the bubble. Just my 2 cents

Tomlin, strap in.

a four man front of Tuitt, heyward, buggs and Hargrave might be interesting to see,

whoa, let's not get crazy here, I'm praying to see a 3 man front, LOL, baby steps. Heyward, Hargrave, Tuitt, with buggs, alualu, walton rotation through is what I'd love to see, but that 4 man front would be a pretty stout Dline, with Watt and Bush at LB and 5 DB's.

As long as Cool Shades has his hands in the defense, don't get your hopes up for any great defensive strategy here.

Hey we can all dream a bit. I hope they do not extend the contract to Tomlin as a subtle way of telling him he must adapt and the coaching staff must evolve around him. Doing the same thing over and over on DEF has to change. Let the CO-OD run their schemes and at the end of the season based on the results you either retain your job or prepare for life after football in Pittsburgh with the likes of AB and LB.
Everyone is accountable and there are no more excuses and consequences to pay.
We had a good draft and it is time for these young players to showcase their talents in training camp. I don't want the best team on paper. I want the best team on the field come game time. Step it up Tomlin and staff -- we are all watching
