Who is the third pass rusher at OLB?
As it sits right now, Anthony Chickillo, Ola Adeniyi and Sutton Smith round out the outside linebacker depth chart behind T.J. Watt and Bud Dupree
.

We just don't know yet. Smith got smoked at the Sr. Bowl when facing top OTs. He doesn't appear to have the tools necessary.

The Steelers released Morgan Burnett, leaving a gap at safety. We might theorize Mark Barron will be the hybrid third safety, but in terms of an injury replacement for Sean Davis or Terrell Edmunds, Barron isn’t that guy. This means Allen is the top choice after spending almost his entire rookie season inactive.

I didn't see enough of Allen last season to even have an opinion, can he be our legit 3rd S?
How will the rushing attempts be split?

Already been covered. At some point, it will be Snell's job.

Who starts at wide receiver with JuJu Smith-Schuster?

I think it will be Washington, but Moncrief could sneak in there if James still isn't ready.

The time out doesn't count coach if you just make another account

Snell is not penciled in to be our No. 1 RB. Whoever thinks that after seeing how well Conner played is off their rocker. Conner has the job. Snell would have to be flat out unstoppable running, learn how to catch out of the backfield and learn to block before he is even in that consideration. He is our No. 3 RB for the foreseeable future. Period. Can he move up? Sure but he would have to do what I said and Conner would have to fall off and keep fumbling the ball. Conner didn't even "play" in all the games he was on the field because they flat out didn't use him (for whatever idiot reason the coaches had) yet he was still in the Pro Bowl. Enough said. Conner is the guy, should be the guy and deserves to be the guy.

If that is coach he should get another 30 days for not honoring his bet. I personally hate bet welchers.

Anyways assuming Snell will eventually be anything is a reach for now. I look at him as a relief pitcher until he shows he is more than that. And I am saying that liking the pick.

A lot of possibilities with who is outside with Juju being inside/outside capable. Will be a fun development to watch.

On the fence about Washington. Hopefully he will have a much improved year.

At S the Steelers are backend weak.....

It was discussed in another thread that JC will likely get hurt. That is what I meant by "sooner of later." JC will go down, Snell will outshine Samuels, and there you will have it.

Edge -
Watt, Dupree - after that will be Ola and Chick only time will tell on Sutton. Ola was a diamond in the rough and will make a lot of steeler nation smile I believe.

Safety -
Edmonds, Davis - after that we will see what Allen can do. Look out for Locke, he could sneak in and take Dangers spot. Or have rotational pieces with our cornerback group. Like to see BAllen get a shot if he doesn’t work out at corner.

WR -
What you guys are forgetting is Juju plays primarily in the slot. Our offense flips a lot with different formations but what I expect to see more often than not. Moncrief & Washington outside with Juju in the slot. 4-5 Receiver sets are growing more common in our offense though. So everybody will get catches.

RB-
Everyone please welcome ! - James Conner featuring Jaysam and Benny Snell!

There is one unaswered question..........

Again, maybe. Jaysam is a very good receiver out of the backfield and showed himself to be a pretty damn good runner as well. Injuries aside, Snell has his work cut out for himself to pass either Jaysam or JC. I hope he lights it up, though. That will be a good problem to have. Although, I am not sure Tomlin is capable of handling more than one good RB on his team. He likes to run the wheels off one guy when most teams are using multiple backs successfully.

Uh.......Sutton Smith played rush end with his hand in the dirt during his entire college career. The Senior Bowl marked his first reps as a OLB in a 2 pt. stance with coverage responsibilities. They moved him there to purposely see if he could transition as a stand up defender. So it was expected him to be “handled” by some of those huge OL.

You seem to pay heavy attention to the Senior Bowl. Have you watched film on Smith?

Are you going to deny you are Coach/Bushbaum? If so PM Coolie or Justin your IP address to prove it.

Yes, and he failed miserably at the position. It appears he won't be able to get the job done at OLB in the NFL - doesn't have the power.
