Didn't someone punch him in the quad or hamstring and that basically ****** him for the year? He was a damn bull when he was healthy. The problem is after he got hurt he was never healthy again.

I don't remember the punch, but it's nearly impossible to injure a hamstring/quad by punching it. He was a big man, and was pretty nimble, I think he just cut and got hit when his momentum was going the other way.
Dude was a load in Philly. I was living there and caught a lot of his games when the Steelers weren't playing. I was happy about the sign, and he started hot, he just got injured. Happens to the best of us...

Actually it was Mikey Cool Shades.
I own a very rare autographed 8x10 of Duce Staley in a Steelers uniform running with the football.

It was during a Ravens game. He was running all over them. I believe it was Ray Lewis.
