Welcome Benny Snell

Solid pick..

Connor with more punch..

ALways seemed to be the best player on the field when I watch Kentucky play...

Next to Josh Allen of course... ;)

Real good pick. The Steelers depth at running back has fallen off after their top two guys as long as I can remember. I think they now have three who can carry the rock and do it well. Snell is a great for.

Matt Snell of the Jets.

I realized that after I posted. Ray Snell - not sure if there is any relation - was drafted by Tampa Bay in 1980 and was on the Steelers in the mid-80s. My bad.

We needed a RB definitely. Connor has an injury history and Samuels was never a true RB in college. Ridley is gone. Snell is going to get some carries no doubt about it.

Granted it's a highlight video, but it appears that arm tackling which has infected the NFL is not going to do the job against Mini-Bus. Looking forward to watching him hopefully bring back a little smash mouth offense to the Burgh.

This guy will be a beast. Great numbers in the sec and uk had no Qb. Faced 8 man fronts all year. Uk’s qb was beyond suck and had many sub 100 yard passing games. Wilson was a double threat could throw a pick to left and fumble to the right

And I think I saw where Snell averaged like 119 yards rushing per game. He was their offense.

The game has become so pass happy, I wouldn't be surprised if a potent running game , mixed with an effective passing game would trip up a lot of defenses.

Bring on the season!

Nobody really notices, but that's what NE and NO have been doing. Rams, too. Chiefs.

I haven't been keeping up with stats for oh probably 15 years but I just checked the rushing leaders and PGH was 31. Had no idea we had dropped that low. Frick we've become Air Coryell

I like him only for when James gets hurt. We can maintain having a bruiser in the backfield and not have jaylen to do it all. I like jaylen more in plays designed to give him space like being Ben’s checkdown target.

I'm calling it now: by no later than midseason 2020, Benny Snell will be THEE starting bell cow running back for the Pittsbirgh Steelers. He will eventually take Jim Connor's job

B-B-B-Benny and the...Steelers

Yeah!

Someone convince him to sport number 26.

Then you can just modify an old jersey.

The 0 fumbles is really something I like. Not to bash Conner, but he had two key fumbles that played a huge role in our staying home this past January.

Yeah, crazy isn't it? Our number of attempts have to be at the bottom as well. Can we get a little Power I football back w/ Rosie Nix leading the charge for Snell through DeCastro/Pouncey/Foster/Feiler/Villy/Old McDonald?

Just a little?

"Snell ya later", would have been better.

How about: Schnell!! Schnell!!

Schnell is Fast or Let's GO in German. You hear it all the time in old WWII movies. Usually proceeded by Achtung! (Danger)

I can see yelling that when he's bulldozing into the endzone. :)

No kidding.. No wonder Rocky Bleier wasn't interested in watching the games any longer. Funny how when we were a run first team, we wished we had a better passing game, now we have gone full circle and wish we had a running game. If we can strike a good balance of the two somehow, we'll be alright.
