The NFL Draft is always unpredictable. Crazy picks, trades, and other movies are the only things that can really be expected. But sometimes, team fits are so perfect that you can almost pencil them into their new team. Team visits, Pro Day and Combine meetings, and additional reports can just about secure a player to […]

This might annoy people but Savage is rumored to be rising, and he could be an option in 1 like Edmunds was.

Some might say safety?

But the Steelers lost one, and looked at quite a few prospects at the position. Also I think Davis is a free agent I believe next year?

Anyways it wouldn't shock me, although I prefer a S in 2 or 3.

I've read a few things saying that also. I honestly don't know enough about him to judge.

He can play slot and you can shoot him to the back and try him at SD's spot at FS. Really a position flexible and fast prospect. For an extra bonus he can play the run well too. Steelers showed some interest, some might not think he has ideal FS size. But I would give up height for range. I like the kid but I think round 2 is where I would draft him. Not that people's value perception would stop the Steelers from selecting him in 1 if he was high on their board.

I found it odd that no 1st/2nd round ILB. If the right guy isn't there then TAKE BPA and I hope that will be the case. Some here aren't sold on D.Bush 1.20 but most would snatch him up in a heartbeat VS the HUGE need we have. One even better would be if they moved up 6-8 and actually got Ed Oliver and used him ILB and he thrived. (Just hoping & I'd be happy to serve coolie's time if thaT CAME TRUE)

One mock has the Clemson kid who would be a OLBer in our system as our first. I think that would be a solid value pick, although some might not like the idea of a OLBer in one.

But if the BPA........

Slash, we NEED an OLB near as much as an ILB. If said player could command extra attention and Cool Shades actually played him from the get go, YOU'D see just how good WATT really is and how much that could hide some of the weakness in our "D". If BPA I'd pull that trigger like OMAR's leg (every chance I'd get).................
