That is freaking crazy!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope Ben isn't looking to get that kind of coin but I believe they have the same agent.

Wilson's agent only has 1 client

Is Wilson as good as BEN ROethlesberger????????

35 million a season. $2,187,500 per game. $72,916 per pass if he throws 30 passes.

I don't think so. He is a top 10 QB. Not sure if he is top 5 but might be.

oh he's definitely top 5. not quite on ben's level, but i'll say this: wilson throws the best deep ball in the league. very accurate, and he puts it on an arc where it basically drops straight down out of the sky, making it more difficult for the defender to make a play on the ball.

BOTTOM line is where does this and how does this affect BEN"s extention at what $$$dollar$$$ price...........

Exactly with Ben and his extension. I read a couple weeks ago that the delay in him signing was due to his agent negotiating these other QB's as well and this would drive Ben's price up. At Wilson's numbers, that will put us in a cap pinch this year and in years to come, even after he retires (assuming he doesn't finish out the extension he does sign). Curious to see how it plays out.

4years $120 mil, 74 signing

In an earlier thread, i thought $75m for a total of $115 over 4. That be 10m/year salay and $29m cap hit. Maybe a 5th year for total of $125m knowing we would be eating the last bit of the bonus that year as Ben would be unlikely to play that long.

That seems less likely, now.

You either pay your franchise QB or you don't have one.
Dilfer, Brady, Johnson, Brady, Brady, Ben, Manning, Manning, Ben, Brees, Rodgers, Manning, Flacco, Wilson, Brady, Manning, Brady, Foles, Brady.

Judging by the Super Bowl winners since 2000, It's probably a good idea to have one.

12 of those belong to 4 Qb's? Ben x2, Eli x2, Brady x6. You need to pay the RIGHT Franchise QB. Matt Ryan and Matt Stafford are franchise QB's, too.

If Ryan didn't have an idiot coach, he'd be on that list, but I get your point, we have the RIGHT franchise QB
