As soon as I figure out the best way to do an online petition, this is a go.

Randy Grossman In Steelers Hall Of Honor

WHEREAS, Randy Grossman was a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers from 1974 to 1981, and
WHEREAS, Randy Grossman earned four Super Bowl rings while playing tight end for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and
WHEREAS, Randy Grossman is one of twenty-one Pittsburgh Steelers with four Super Bowl rings, and
WHEREAS, Randy Grossman is one of only three undrafted NFL players to earn four Super Bowl rings*, and
WHEREAS, Randy Grossman has distinguished himself in his post-NFL career as a successful member of the business community,

We the fans of the Pittsburgh Steelers petition the team to add Randy Grossman and his #84 jersey to the Hall Of Honor and have Randy Grossman Night at a home game to be determined in the 2019 season.

* As best I can determine, the only undrafted NFL players with four Super Bowl rings are Randy Grossman, Donnie Shell, and Adam Vinitieri.

I'm serious. Now the Steelers will probably ignore us, but what the heck, it's worth a shot.

Hard to believe Donnie Shell wasn't drafted. And signed.

In today's political climate, wouldn't it be more expeditious to request a Jewish 'ring of honor' and let things follow to their logical conclusion?

I thought about it but in researching Randy Grossman for the petition I found he didn't make a big deal out of his religion. When asked if he encountered any discrimination he said no, other players on the team just cared if you could play. My kind of guy. Of course it was a different time.

You could have added something about accomplishing all of that despite having attended the football wasteland that is Temple.

If only he had played there when Bruce Arians was the head coach.

Before Obummer saved us from the deep, widespread racism all white people have against (put group name here)?

We have a gif for "Well that didn't escalate quickly"?

SteelerNation official Twitter has a strong following, maybe see if you can have your petition posted there Ron?

I am # 29!

I'm going to look up famous Steeler players who wore 29.

(I'm Barry Foster!)

Shoulda held out for #45

Then you could all yell "Fuuuuuuuuu"

Up to 31.

I put is on 3 Steelers groups on fb. Guess most fans old enough to know who he is don't go on the interweb much.
