No Weaknesses: Only Injuries Or The Salary Cap Can Stop The Seahawks

  • Thread starter Thread starter Steel Not A Player

It is a little but of both. A team coming off a SB victory, and another team whose D has been struggling and trying to find answers.

Regardless like was mentioned way to early to tell either teams fate.

GB has a whole season to improve and Seahawks have all season to figure out if they are up to the task of repeating.

The Starbucks don't impress me. In fact nobody is that good in the league above everyone else without some help. I watched about 2 quarters of that game ,got bored and watched reruns of Matlock.

Team Speed and physicality..

They are showing the rest of the league how to continue to play physical football in today's NFL...which seems to be team speed to the point of emphasis, which eliminates the "one-on-one" altercation..

You can't penalize or fine several players for the same hit on an opponent...or at least it would be very difficult to break that down and rationalize that as an illegal hit or post-game fine..

They are the most physically imposing team I recall in a while. That said it is only week 1.

One would think the Seahawks' dominance in a freaking New York Super Bowl would rest the myth that they're "good only at home."

They're easily the best NFL team since those Cowboys teams. That Patriots dynasty of a decade ago would be their *****.

Like I said. They aren't great on the road. They weren't good last year and appear to be not so good this year.

Seahawks are a great team. But there's a reason they don't give out the Lombardi till after the season. Best team doesn't always win the big game. It is usually the hottest team with a little luck sprinkled in. All you need to do is make the playoffs anything can happen after that.

In all fairness, this charger team is nothing to sneeze at. Plus San Diego always plays above their heads at the murph

I understand what you're saying, but it works both ways.

Due to rule changes. it's a lot easier to pass in the league now than it was in 1990s, so it's stands to reason that the Seahawks secondary would be even better in the 1990s NFL.

Talent is talent, and I think many parts of their team, especially their o-line and secondary, would be elite in either era.

It is easier to pass now, but that means there are tons of WRs playing now who would not even be in the NFL back in the 90s. Guys who couldn't get off the line.

Michael Irvin would throw Sherman on his *** if he tried to bump him. Sherman is able to rattle most of the WRs who can't do anything if they are touched in the slightest.

The Dallas OL would grind Seattle's front 7 into dust. Nobody run blocks anymore like that Dallas OL.

Forget Dallas. Seattle's defense would be crying for mommy if they faced the 95 steelers.

SD isn't great at home. They lost last year to the horrible Texans and bungles at home. They should have lost to KC at home as well.

Just because sometimes things aren't always as they appear early on-

Bump. :)

Super Bowl Hangover.............had they lost to Carolina this weekend **** wouldve really plastered the walls of the Emerald City.
Theyve got some ground to make up vs Arizona, but theyve still got two games head to head with AZ. But SF is about to get healthy with Bowman, Smith and a couple others for their stretch run. Lots of game left...............

Yup. They lost to a bad Rams team on the road and should have lost to the panthers on the road. Sherman was getting thrown on all day and if Benjamin closes his hands he has a TD on him.

and Skittles is on his way out

And it's going to be much tougher to put a roster together when your QB is not making league minimum...

That locker room is poison. Guys are in there fighting over who's Black enough, ******* each other's wives, and getting into fistfights after practice. Until that mess gets straightened out, this team isn't going anywhere. Meanwhile, the 9ers are getting healthy and getting off suspension.

The NFL is the most competitive league in the world. We turn over champs and chumps like no other. Teams go from being world beaters to goats from week to week. ****'s crazy. Now college football is following suit. Have you seen the playoff chaos going on on Saturdays? Unranked teams knocking of top 5s. One week this year HALF the top 10 got knocked off on the same day. Never happened before.

The prediction game just makes people look silly. Myself included.

I saw a stat on TV the other day, memory is fuzzy, but I think it was something like every SB winner since the 2005/6 Steelers has missed the playoffs the next season.

OK, but is Russell Wilson black enough? Maybe they should trade him straight up for Mile Vick. He's definitely black enough. All-time over-rated, but black enough.
