Why isn't Aaron Rodgers taking the beating that Ben did?

Ben got blasted because of an immature self centered asshat saying ****, but Rodgers got his coach fired, and that's widely known, yet there's hardly a word about him.

Salute the nation

The media has always hated Ben. My bet is his sarcastic ******* sense of humor doesn't do him any favors. Sad thing is, I totally get that sense of humor, I'm widely known as the ******* friend in our group (I know, shocking) but not everyone can deal with that, and the media expects you to lick their balls with every answer, and when you don't they start looking for **** to "put you in your place". Now I think Rogers benefits from the whole Green Bay thing too, for some reason that team never sees the same level of scrutiny on their football every other team does.

Of ben wins one more superbowl, everyone will shut the **** up.

Oh and **** Rodgers

Probably not, Ben has won 2 and been to 3, Rodgers has only been to 1.

Rogers has been a cancer in Green bay since he arrived yet he is looked at as some above it all figure. He is outspoken he has thrown many a player under the bus and had coaches fired, ben says one thing and it is blown up to be the end of the world.

As the article released all but sensationalized the root cause, is it any wonder why McCarthy is the vilified one?

Oh my, Rodgers had to sit in the green room as the last player there when he was drafted. McCarthy drafted Alex Smith over Rodgers and then became his head coach later. Boo Hoo Hoo....ridiculous. He’s made a ton of more money than any QB selected during that draft, and has MVPs and SBs with McCarthy at the helm. It’s all about ego.....and Rodgers is the “got his feelings hurt player” so, HC be damned by the media. No different from Brown....didn’t get paid by the big bad owner/GM when he was the highest paid WR when he signed his last contract.

I’d blame CEO Mark Murphy and GM Thompson for not getting both the HC and QB together and end the ego BS, but obviously Ted was suffering from dementia before he was relieved of his role. Murph knew it, but didn’t want to listen.

We were a Mendenhall fumble away from it being 3 for 3 and none for Rodgers.

Yep, but the play I remember most was our supposed biggest, toughest, meanest 330lb olinemen, Kemo, getting his *** bull rushed into Ben as he was releasing the ball causing a pick 6.

Rodgers doesn't even speak to his own family. It doesn't surprise me at all that he has some problems relating to others in the locker room.

I've been referred to as an ******* myself on numerous occasions for many years now mostly because I pull no punches when others around me act the fool or ******* themselves and are promptly told so.
But remember, there are more of us ******** than qb's who do insurance commercials.
Just sayin'.

Christ. Ben is just a ***'n game manager. Rogers is THE BEST of the BEST. There are reports that Rogers has even walked on water.

That, plus Rogers' problem was mainly with the coach and Ben's problems were ostensibly with other players.

AB had a problem with Ben, Ben didn't have problems, he just wanted to win and get the plays right. Rodgers called McCarthy the most unintelligent coach he's ever been around

Well, he beat Tomlin in the Super Bowl, so....

I heard that Rodgers is not well respected around the league. Players respect his game but not him personally. The reason is because he is inexplicably estranged from his family. It seems a lot of players are bothered by that.

Rodgers and McCarthy are both white. That means there is no racial component, therefore the media has no interest.

That was the game right there. Worst part is that is the WR was breaking wide open. and if Ben can step into that throw it may have been 6 for the steelers.

It was still a stupid play call.

A slow developing pass play against your own endzone was not wise, given the issues the Steelers had with their line throughout that season.

This sounds like bullshido. Everyone knows families are complicated. I highly doubt that there is some league-wide frown on Rogers because of some unknown family issue.
