I promise I'm not running anything in guys bringing this up. I forgot how we had a 21 to 3 lead and almost blew it. I rewatched it the other day and Pittsburgh really was catching up fast in the 2nd half. You guys had serious momentum. Clay Matthews saved us with that forced fumble. What do you guys think?

As I recall, even after the fumble we had the ball with 2 minutes plus left and went 4 and out? Down 6, Ben just needed one more epic drive like against the Cards. If he converts that drive, we would be talking about him as one of the greatest clutch performers of all time.

Now, not sure if my memory is correct on this. Anyone?

Yep you did. I watched it recently and you guys had a chance to win at the end.

Ben needed Santonio on the field IMO.

If Mendenhall doesn’t fumble and Ben doesn’t throw that gimmie pick six, horrible decision, we win easily.

The Steelers were clearly the better team but Ben’s poor first half and Mendenhall’s fumble was enough to torpedo #7.

Both teams were pretty evenly matched IMO.

If I'm being honest, if some of those balls weren't dropped by the GB WRs, Rodgers hangs 400+ yards on the Steelers defense.

I'm not of the opinion that if "this or that" were to not happen, we win easily.

If I recall, Ben’s arm got hit as he threw that pass and resulted in a duck? Also recall that the WR had a solid step on defender and if that pass is released clean, that could have been a long TD down sideline. My last recollection in that regards is, Pouncey was injured earlier in playoffs, causing him to miss SB, and pressure on that play came over center, preventing Ben from clean release.

Oh well... that’s why it’s ultimate team sport... an injury weeks earlier could have such an impact on a single play that could drastically change the complexion of a game.

If I remember correctly, GB had some defensive backfield guys hurt within the game and Kewl Shades chose NOT TO EXPLOIT that.
But that is neither here or there as it's been game over for a long time.

Salute the nation

GBs entire secondary was injured and we can't win that game? Seriously?

As I recall our last drive, Ben was fixated with Wallace and GB had 11 guys covering him. Heath was so wide open, he even sent Ben a few emails. Nope. Wallace. Done.
