The Steelers typically aren’t big spenders in free agency, as they typically focus on rewarding their in-house talented with extensions instead. The Steelers ability to find bargains in free agency, as well as develop talent from within their organization, has yielded a lot of success in the Kevin Colbert era. However, after missing the playoffs […]

That picture of Tomlin and Colbert on the front of that lead story literally makes me sick to my stomach. This franchise has lost so much of its luster in my eyes over the last 5 years its unbelievable.

Del we are stuck with the hand we are dealt. All we can hope for is to hit on some of these free agents, enjoy the draft, and enjoy Ben's remaining years.

Focus in on what we can enjoy even though we know it is a flawed product.

I agree. There is never any point in hoping they are the ***** so you can be right. I hope they show a huge uptick as a TEAM and win it all and then extend Tomlin. I think I'm right and he should be gone but I sincerely hope I'm wrong.

I cannot speak for everyone, but, for me, it is not so much hoping to be right, as it truly believing they'll have to hit absolute rock bottom for the necessary changes to be made.

I'd like to believe getting Brown off the team is enough to positively shift the trajectory of he franchise, but I just don't see it.

Totally get and in my mind I agree. Just don't want it to happen. I want the team to take an upward trajectory. I love this team and find all this **** to be embarrassing as a fan. I hope rock bottom was hit. To be perfectly honest if it hasn't, that is probably on Ben and at least some of what is being said is true. Of course the coach is responsible for the product and culture of the team. And if he cant handle it he should be gone. But he does need help from his veteran leaders. Most importantly Ben.

The AB dead money is a one year setback. If everything goes normal, we have yuge cap space next offseason and can actually be buyers.

ill the team as a whole take on the reasonability and make this year a great one and prove two players that were full of themselves wrong. Who on this team can get this across t the rest of the team. You would truly think they all would be so embarrassed of what has taken place lately that their eyes would open.

They spent 40 million this winter. They dolled out big for a corner. Be fair. No they will never go out and get the marquee FA. That's not how this organization runs. But show me when that has ever worked.

We did WAY MORE THAN THE PATS....

Of course Bill B is gonna get someone at the last second and dirt cheap ....WATCH
