Steelers sign CB Steven Nelson formerly of the Chiefs.

I don't know much about Nelson, but I appreciate the effort of the Steelers FO. This is nearly unprecedented.
 
My first thought was, really, a KC defender (given their defensive ranking), but after watching the highlights, I REALLY like the way he always gets his hands in there to break up passes. He has ball awareness that our DBs lack. Instant upgrade over Coty Sensabaugh and Artie Burned.
 
I like it in that he's an obvious upgrade over what they got from Burns and Sensabaugh last year.

Hopefully, they can get one more good season out of Haden and Edmunds develops further.

Great move with the smokescreen signing by Tombert… now nobody will see us putting together a package to move up for a top corner we could have had at #20. We sign Nelson add Deandre Baker or Greedy Williams and presto chango all our coverage problems are solved as we still give 15 yard cushions on 3rd and 2.

But we'll have a situational pass rush ace tandem of Dupree/Chikillo coming off the edge so I doubt the QB will even have time to look at option #1 before the relentless pressure chases him off target.

SB here we come!!!

I've been thinking about this all night...

Personally, I would STILL target Deandre Baker, if he's there, BECAUSE, as you said - and we all know it - Joe Haden won't be here forever and why pass up on a true lockdown corner???

Tough decisions - ILB or DB - we need top tier talent with both the 1st and 2nd round picks!!!
