Crappy I always thought James was underrated. If McDonald goes down we will be screwed. Add TE to draft needs

This actually leaves a pretty big hole. McDonald, while good, when healthy, was healthy last year (other than camp) and still didn't carry a huge workload. This almost guarantees we either grab a decent free agent or draft a pass catching TE in the first half of the draft. We need someone that can start, if needed, on day 1 since we still can't trust McDonald.
 
HCMT obviously did not prefer the Nittnay Lion?
 
Not a great run blocker but he made some clutch plays for the Steelers during his time here. We definitely need depth on the roster at TE now. Grimble is not a good TE.

A solid guy, and good 5th round pick. Glad he got paid. Now add back up TE on the list for round 5, or 6.

He was good for what he did, and a few times he made some clutch catches, but we can do better

After a catch, I was always scared he was gonna fumble when he would rumble..

well, wait he did at the goal line huh against the Pats in 2017

Best wishes to the outlaw. On a side note I work with a guy whose son played football and roomed with Jesse at Penn State. They are still close friends and last week Jesse was down to visit him. He told my friend's son that when he had a meeting with Colbert he was told to test the market. As of last week he thought he was going to either the Bills or the Saints but apparently the Lions must have ponied up more so kudos for him. He said some other things too but I'm afraid I'd start World War 3 on this board so I'll just let it at that.

I'm happy for the guy, he deserves more time on the field and was probably happy to get away from Tomlin's circus
 
I know it might be hard for some people here to believe( and I know as well as anyone Ben is our only chance of being competitive) but don't you think it's possible he can be a great quarterback and a ******* *******? I don't know Ben personally so I'm not going to call him that but it seems more and more people that do know him personally call him that all the time. JHC wouldn't you say Antonio Brown is extremely talented but a total ******* *******
