What Bell and Brown did was a huge diss on their Steeler teammates. I see the team reacting by playing 2019 in a very disciplined and
focused manner. Time to show the NFL how a team plays when it sheds it's Divas.

You still have Tomlin as the head coach so don't expect much in 2019. Hopefully Big Ben at 37 doesn't all of a sudden hit a wall since he's our only chance at a decent season. Colbert better hit a home run in the draft and F/A and plug as many holes as possible. If he ***** this up and Tomlin does what he normally does, then both need to go after 2019.

Bull#$%@. The only thing I'm wondering now is who the next diva will be to roll over Tomlin since they know have the formula.

I predict a top 10 pick in next year's draft.

Everyone (including me) is trying to find something to hold onto here.

We lost 2 of this generations greatest offensive players in one off season

We are in hell right now

We played all season without Bell. We won 3 playoff games with those 2 "generational" talents over their career here.
Ben is the reason they were so good, AB has done **** without Ben.
Connor in his second season did better than Bell did in his 5th season.

I agree with Tom on this, but let's be clear. AB is an amazing receiver. He DID pull doubles all year long which allowed JuJu to flourish. Now JuJu will get those doubles and he won't be effective against them. That leaves us with Washington with his suspect hands and focus. The passing game WILL suffer. Particularly if they lose James who isn't spectacular, but is dependable. That leaves us with McDonald who frankly shocked us ALL by staying healthy a season and ******* Grimble. I have no real faith in Grimble. he doesn't even block well and he certainly isn't a serious receiving threat. But he CAN fumble at critical times! I'll give him that.

Defensively, they pick too late to get a true impact player for the defense. They'll get the 3rd or 4th (at best) best linebacker IF they even go that route. If they go corner, the same is true. They are essentially drafting project players at that point who may become decent in two to three years.

On top of ALL THAT, you have cool shades who will continue to **** up the team with his bullshit tendencies. Which players will he give preferential treatment to now? Which will he mislead about their playing time and opportunities? I'm so irritated with Tomlin and how he allowed all this to fester I can hardly find any hope whatsoever for the immediate future of the team.

I just hope Ben continues to increase his HOF resume with the now 'ordinary' team that can no longer boast of being the most talented offensive team in the league.

Oh crap... I didn't even consider the loss of Munch. I can only assume the offensive line play will begin to deteriorate as Cool Shades takes over THAT aspect of the team as well. Cause he's ******* AWESOME at coaching guys up.

JuJu will be the next diva to demand whatever he wants, write that down.

The Steelers organization has shown the world they are an easy pushover for players to get anything they want. What a complete laughingstock they have become, a d the owners sit back and let it happen.

Life is all about ying and yang, the balance of life. Although I appreciate your optimism, This dysfunctional organization has turned me into a sadistic pessimist who finds all of the discourse comedic. i am the ying to your yang. Nothing will improve until Colbert and Tomlin are punted into the Mon and sent floating out of the ******* city.

LOL, chip my ***, the Browns stand a good chance to overtake the Steelers in the division this year

the dysfunctional Steelers are the New Factory of Sadness

And THEN there will be the rebuilding without a franchise QB. No... We have a year or two of mediocrity where we can enjoy Ben building his HOF resume without making the playoffs. But after that... It's the Josh Dobbs / Kent Graham / Kordell Stewart / Brian St. Pierre show. Except, imagine all those guys without Bettis.

I'm in the "we won ZERO SBs with these two yahoos here" camp.
Are Bell and Brown amazing generational talents?
Yep. There is no denying this.
However, winning a ring is not at all about having the best players.
It's about having the best TEAM.
Right now, our defense is our deficiency, not our offense.
It has been since we hung 42 on the #1 Jags D two years ago but gave up 45 to BLAKE BORTLES and the NOBODIES on the Jags offense!
Connors and somewhat Samuels more than passed the test for replacing Bell.
JuJu is a gamer and will step up admirably as the team's #1.
It's the other WRs/TEs that need to step up and prove it.
But besides our D-Line and Watt, and maybe Hayden, the rest of our D is hot flaming dumpster fire garbage.

They really could use some of the leadership Mr. Rooney used to provide...

Ben will NOT be happy with a watered down passing attack. I fully expect sideline blowups becoming a weekly drama.

RB, WR, WR, WR

Its our only chance, the defense is so broken and full of holes its a waste to even try plugging that sinking ship with the short time we have left with Ben.

Steelers aren't bringing in any "impact" free agents. It will be another trip to the scrap heap near the end of the free agent period.

If they get 2 impact players in free agency and can draft similar to 2017, there will be a big change in outlook from many of you by May.

Not as long as Mike Tomlin is the coach...

Ben, in 16 years, has been saddled with the likes of Cedric Wilson and Cobi Hamilton and never once had a sideline blow-up. I fully expect one though too.

I just hope they keep posing in the end zone like gangstas

If this season goes as expected, I wouldn't be surprised if Ben retired.
