Third and 5th for AB. Won't make fans happy but Colbert had to drop asking price for team to take on AB, especially with new money. Keeping him was never a realistic or good option.

The return is terrible...

Shows how much the Steelers wanted to get rid of this cancer. They let him go for a 3rd and a 5th

I wonder if the Raiders can eat any of his salary?

Not sure how football works, but hockey teams can retain salary

30 nfl owners should be pissed.

That twerp should be sitting out the rest of his career.

The nfl is turning into the nba.

Like I said, the Steelers has no leverage in the negotiation. The desperate party in any transaction never gets the best deal.

a 3rd and a 5th? That is bullshit. The steelers just sent the message that if you don't like your contract, just act like an ******* and you get your way.

Steelers absolutely should have kept him. Even if he sat home and refused to play,

Lev Bell should have signed his tender then took a **** on Rooney's lawn. he would have been traded for a 6th rounder later that day.

Steelers had all the leverage. They had him under contract. Steelers didn't have to do a damn thing.

Steelers should have told AB that they tried to trade him but he ****** iot up so now he's stuck in Pittsburgh. Play or don't play, it's up to you how much money you want to forfeit

a third and a 5th for the best WR in the league....****

It was a 3rd and a 5th for the biggest diva in the NFL. He WON'T be the best WR in the league on Oakland. Ben buys him many chances to break routes, and is one of the best deep passers in the league.

Carr is average. Gruden is running plays from the 1990's.

The Steelers run their organization like a mom and pop store right now. It's great when you're winning and have a group of guys who are about the team, but it's awful when you have guys acting like clowns to get their way. They need send the message that they're serious about winning titles and if you aren't hear to do that, you'll be out.
