‘One Team Race’ for Antonio Brown

https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/...arket-could-be-forced-to-take-best-deal-left/

So much for the first round pick. At this point I trade him to the team with the worst QB. Bills, Jets, or cardinals and whatever their best offer is. 6 pack and a Denny’s coupon. Go for it.

What the **** does LaCanfora know?????? I'm not saying he is wrong or right but what does he know??? Did he name sources........ is this just a speculation piece.......... has big titties been traded and deal announced???? All NOs to those questions. I'm patient and awaiting the STEELERS announcement of this trade and price. If #shit4brains would have been more cooperative a first + would have been easy. If it turns out you can't get enough to move him then the IRON drops. CLEAN decisive ship is sailed forward from this point....... if #shit4brains does anything...... fine & suspension, eventually he will get it when his $$$ is affected. The STEELERS can live with him another year provided they are stern and call the shots from the get go,......NO leniency of any kind.

the Steelers are going to get screwed. I just know it. Dude is an unstable jackass that has spouted off too many times and we can't blame GMs for being cautious.

so don't ******* trade him....Sit out *****....We survived without your girlfriend Leticia Bell last year

Well, that sucks. Tomorrow's artificial deadline is almost here. If we take anything less than a 1st, I will be VERY pissed off. I'd rather keep him and put the screws to him here. If he doesn't want to play for us, then suspend him without pay and get the money back on the next years cap.

I didn't want to spoil the Pouncey thread with anything AB, but had to share this tidbit from Todd Haley:

Imagine that, a guy who likes his QB and playing with the Steelers

“Yeah, again, I can only speak of when I was there, but, I mean, these two had the best chemistry that I’ve ever seen between a quarterback and receiver,” Haley said. “They’re both very good field players and can adjust in the fraction of a second. I think the two of them together was a phenomenal, phenomenal combination, obviously. And all I saw was great respect."

Sounds like manufactured drama and disrespect from one Mr. Big Checks then.

I don’t see us getting 1st rd pick.

Todd Haley had as much to do with NOT disciplining #******** big titties as anyone on the football field. Did surfer dude rip him a new one when he ran the wrong routes? Did he bench him for a period of game time for continually doing the wrong route routine? None of us truly know those answers but we do know that at one time, a long time ago, his wife was pretty hot. Today she
E is just a bar tramp with a jealous husband. Surfer dude

Mr. Big Chump is dumber than a mud fence. He thought he was screwing the Steelers but he was screwing himself as well.

Source: Steelers talking with 'several' teams; no Friday deadline for Antonio Brown deal

I had concerns all along that, because of age and optics, a 1st round pick was going to be hard to come by, though before bABy’s 45 minute ESPN rant, seemed one of the Raiders late 1st’s was in play. I mean, if you’re a Raiders fan or management, at the ‘18 trade deadline, they were offered Brown under contract an additional 3 years, straight up for Cooper at the end of his contract, the deal would have been done so fast your head would spin! In essence, the 27th pick is just that, but Brown can’t keep his Mr. Big Trap shut, painting himself as increasingly difficult and bat **** crazy!!! The Raiders aren’t going to bid against themselves and any trade value is evaporating by the second. (Not to mention, they probably wouldn’t mind sticking it to the Steelers for the Bryant trade!). At this point, if they can, take the 35th pick and run.

That being said, the Steelers shouldn’t accept anything less. If a trade gets done, regardless of round the pick comes, the Steelers are eating almost 22 mil in dead money. That is only tolerable with the offset of a high pick bringing in a player with the potential to contribute at a very high level. Every pick later and later in the draft, that potential diminishes exponentially, therefore reducing acceptable loss in eating the dead money against cap.

I hate to say it, or even think it, but if the compensation is anything less than a 2nd, the Steelers should make the tough decision to keep him. If you’re eating 22 mil to trade him for a high pick, then eating 24.5 to keep him, rather than accept a draft pick so low, it very well could result in a player that doesn’t even make the squad, you do it. Then they need to schedule a manditory meeting with Brown/agent and fine him for every second he doesn’t show. When he does show and says “What gives? I thought we all agreed to part ways?” Without saying a word, fire up his ESPN video, make him sit through all 45 excruciating minutes and then tell him, your mouth gravely affected our ability to receive fair market value we deserve for the investment we had already made in you. Now, he either plays his little heart out to the best of his ability and adheres to every rule imposed by the team or they fine him in order to recover on their lost investment.

If they’re willing to eat 22 mil for a great pick, they have to be willing to eat 24.5 mil to avoid eating a **** sandwich and 22 mil! BrownStain is under contract for 3 years that included a hefty signing bonus up front. Under no circumstances should he be released. Let him rot for next 3 years, which could also affect HOF aspersions. He did NOTHING in good faith to achieve the goal of a trade in the best interest of all parties!

I say sit his crazy ***. He doesn't deserve to walk and the Steelers dont deserve to get screwed on any trade.
