Peter King believes AB will be traded soon for a 1st rounder

one rumor is the Raiders are considering trading for Brown and signing Bell, with the intent to use their first pick on Kyler Murray.
which may be why Arizona is considering Murray now.

I honestly don't see AZ passing on Murray. They would be able to move Rosen quite easily. WASH comes to mind and even the G-Men could be interested. Oakland has $72M in cap space, so landing those two wouldn't be a stretch. Bell, AB and Gruden. Hard Knocks would be drooling. . .

Originally I was hoping Gang Green would end up with both Bell & Big titties but now I'm just hoping ONE team sign them both regardless of location. Raiders raidering.............................

Michael McClymont of the Score reports Big Titties could be dealt by Friday.

“Things are moving quickly in the Antonio Brown sweepstakes as a deal for the All-Pro wide receiver is expected to be in place by Friday, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are now asking potential trade partners for their best offers, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports, as Brown is due a $2.5-million roster bonus by March 17.

Three new teams have entered the fray within the last 48 hours, while the New York Jets and Arizona Cardinals are no longer pursuing Brown, Rapoport adds.

It was previously reported that the Denver Broncos have no interest in Brown and, as of Thursday, the San Francisco 49ers had not spoken to the Steelers about a trade. The Oakland Raiders, Tennessee Titans, and Washington Redskins were previously identified as interested parties.

The Steelers are looking to accommodate Brown's trade request but have said they will only do so if they net reasonable compensation.”

If they could get Washington to cough up their 1st for Carr, they could get the #15 in the first round.
per the draft trade chart (thanks, TMC), the #15 is worth 1050 points. combining that with their own 4th, they'd have 2850 - which isnt a hard stretch. The Cards could trade down and get Haskins or even Daniel Jones. Though the idea they're drafting the next Mahomes or Watkins would be hard to shake for Arizona.

Let's say they do that, though.

Suddenly Oakland - if they make those moves - now has the #1 pick and everyone knows they're using it on Murray. This would help us immensely. We could **** their plans or help them along if the price is right.

The 24th pick is worth 740 points. Is a low round 1st enough to part with for Brown?

IMO, it is not - even though I don't want him on the team anymore.

I could go for the 24th and swapping 2nd rounders, and having Oakland throw in their 4th round pick.

Which would give us the 20, 24, 35, 83, 106, 122, 175, 192 and 219 picks.

Three picks in the top 35 would be an excellent way to overcome the losses of Miss Big Kunt and High As Bell.

if the draft falls exactly like this (regardless of teams picking), we could have something like this:
http://walterfootball.com/draft2019charlie.php

20 Devin Bush
24 N'Keal Harry/Riley Ridley
35 Brian Burns (OLB, Florida State)
83 Caleb Wilson (TE, UCLA)

The jets and the Cards are saying they are out, which means bidding has move past what they want to offer... its either a high second or a low first then.... i still believe the raiders offered a first for him already

I think the Raiders might be one of the only teams willing to consider a 1 for him. If they offer it, grab it and run.

My take is the Cards and Jets are simply drafting way too high in the first to make a first round offer and the Steelers are not interested in their second rounders because other teams are offering higher. There are plenty of teams drafting in the 15-30 range likely involved in the bidding, so I'm thinking mid to late 1st rounder.

Teams know Colbert is asking for a first so I doubt you would even be hearing the mention of other teams if they were offering less. As per reports multiple teams are interested so the bidding is likely for a first.

If the pundits are right and we have a deal in place by Friday, you would have to think that means we are going to get a 1st round pick for him. At least, you would hope the Steelers wouldn't rush it for anything less than that.

COME ON!!!!!!!!! Santa needs a brand new bag!!!!!!!!!!!!! Give us that 1st rounder, beeeeeeeeotches!!!!!!!!!!!

This whole thing is a debacle,, and a damn shame. Character matters. We should be contending for a Superbowl with brown and bell. Instead were rebuilding, and praying for a miracle on defense. You guys are excited a for a first round pick/ guess. Meanwhile were losing arguably the best rb and wr in football and all we MAY get is a first round pick .

The whole thing is a debacle but the guy doesn't want to be in Pittsburgh and quit on the team. What the hell are people supposed to do?

You do bring up a couple of good points............including your avatar. Those two you mention and the fact character matters are complete opposites. Each one is accountable to their respective BAD character. We were never winning a Super Bowl with either or both of those two on the team. Our coaching is such that it won't change and can't step up to the level needed. YES, rejoice if we do get a 1st as that in itself is a victory of a lost cause. Big titties has tried to sabotage the trade from the get go and several teams have backed away due to that. So yes, CHARACTER does matter and each of the two individuals mentioned are lacking in that category.

Neither player wants to be here that is what Mr Rooney should be looking into, Yes we haven given up two talented players but listen to their mouths waggle, enough, this team needs to move on. What I'm surprised at is no word out of Tomlin mouth or any players. Something needs to happen to shake this team up and have the players respond. There has been no big changes as the coach spouted . You look at the rest of our division and moves are being made. Browns wants gone what we get we get.

As previously said, you make compelling comments.
But as also previously stated, we were not going to win SBs with them, because we already haven't won SBs with them.
And this is when they actually seemed happy to be playing here and not kvetching about money/respect/etc.
Their egos are only getting bigger, Ben is only getting older, and apparently Tomlin is only getting dumber.
We are NOT used to this level of drama here. Tomlin has lost control of the locker room, but he is also the reason it got to this point to begin with.
While ridding ourselves of these two will not be a cure all for all our ailments, it will begin to relieve a lot of the pain and make things better overall.
I think the locker room will rally and become tighter and stronger this season.
Bell and Brown are malcontents that have irreparably harmed this team's chemistry and focus.

What did you want the Steelers to do? Give Bell 20 million per season? Build a mansion at St Vincent college for AB during training camp and build him a statue outside Heinz Field? If I had my choice, I'd rather have Bell and AB on this team, if they acted like ******* grown men, instead of drama creating ******* like they are. They don't want to be here, so **** them. Bell was offered to be the highest paid RB in the NFL by a mile and would've gotten 42 million guaranteed, but that's not good enough. AB was the highest paid WR, but couldn't stand the fact that JuJu won team MVP, or that Ben wanted to get the hot read right, or the organization didn't kiss his kids ***** the way they did his.

I don't think anyone is really excited about any of this, but for the team to move on and get something back for a large part of the team that doesn't want to be here. In a year, this team has gone into the toilet and become a complete circus because of those two clowns. The FO offered both of them more than fair deals and they have **** on them and in the press. Screw both of them! They are not team players or who you should want to build chemistry with.

Can't wait to see who the team that lands Me'Veon will be paying. Something tells me he won't be covering his 2018 losses and might be getting paid less than the $17 mil he wanted to stay in Pittsburgh.
This could be entertaining.

Not sure about this tactic. I use it all the time when I buy a car. I go to two dealers of similar models. Say a CRV and a RAV 4. Give me your best possible price. One if you gets a sale the other will get a phone call saying sorry. No dicker after I make my decision. However, if the deal doesn't happen Friday it will smell desperate.

I can't wait to see him get low-balled......and he absolutely will.
Previous suspensionS, not a team attitude, and sat out a season to prove............?
And he's 27 years old with lots of miles on him.
He won't see Gurley money, and he won't see anything more than a 4 year deal, AT LONGEST.

I can't wait to laugh at how much worse than our best offer it is.

I said a while back that it would not surprise me if LeVeon walks away from football if he doesn’t get what he expects. I really think he enjoys the martyrdom and thinks it will make him some kind of legend.

AB was just about his spending habits. He knew the Steelers wouldn't give him a new contract. The guy will be broke within 5 years of his retirement.

No LEV won't walk away, but I don't see him finishing out his next contract.

I know he might not get what he wants, but I also know there is some really stupid teams out there, and some of them front load money.

I would be surprised if either ends up on a SB caliber team.

Debacle, sure. But, we, the fans didn't quit on Bell or AB like they did on us, their teammates and the Steelers organization. Bell was offered, two years in a row, a contract that would reset the RB market and was WAY more than fair. AB flat out walked out on his teammates with a game left to play this year and doesn't want to be here. So, **** them. Why wouldn't we the fans, be expecting or be happy to get, hopefully, a 1st round pick out of it? Neither player is going to be here this coming year anyway. F off to them both and don't let the door hit you in the ***. As just about every Steeler player that has ever left for more money, they end up admitting the grass isn't always greener.
