it is rare for an elite qb to get traded like this.....
The writing was on the wall during that last playoff game that his days as a Raven were limited.

I heard they were interested in AB as well. That would make them instant contenders. Not sure what this does to their cap situation.

They got a 4th round pick and 2.5 mil of cap savings. The big savings is next year when he is off their books.
he had no more quaranteed money on his deal....trading or cutting him results in the same $16 million in dead money against the 2019 cap

If the Ravens can trade Flacco and his cap killing contract, trading Brown should be a breeze.
Of course there trade the Steelers really need to make is Tomlin.

Good move for Denver. He'll have a skilled WR corp for the first time in a good while. I figured Jax would've gone after Flacco though.
The Bronco receivers better start practicing jump balls.
Elway doing a good job of assuring Elway remains the best QB in Bronco history.
