Super Bowl LIII prediction and game thread

Well Goff did miss a wide open guy in the endzone, and Cooks dropped, had his arm held in the endzone, or it's 17 points. The Rams Oline was horrid

Yeah the tried and true way they played led to 3 points and they were never going to win this game. As Romo said when they were down 3 nothing the Rams still have a chance to win this game by scoring on a turnover, LMFAO

Just waiting for the time the Pirates and the Steelers win a Championship in the same season. Maybe one of the rocket scientists in these spaces will venture an opinion when that might happen ?

Goff was bad but the Rams interior line, especially that right guard was horrible. Holding the Pats to 13 should have been a W. Oh well, on to the draft.

The Rams Oline reminded me of this Chris kemoeatu guy, don't know if you heard of him. Also add Sean mahan and Jonathan Scott. Felt like the three of them were playing tonight

I've witnessed the Pens win it.
I've witnessed the Steelers win it.

I'll be damn happy to see Pirates win it some day.
I need the Pirates and the UGA dawgs feetzball team to get complete my championship joys.

Other than that as long as my teams can stay competitive and minimize locker room drama.
I'm happy.

The difference is Foles made a ton of plays. Goff **** his pants. Goff had plenty of opportunities, he just didn't pull the trigger, He should have had at least 2 TDs

There was the one in the 3rd qtr where there was a blown coverage and he threw to Cooks in the endzone but the throw was late so the DB was able to make a play. Should have been an easy TD.

Then there was the late one that should have been pass interference when Cooks arm was grabbed. Goff underthrew it a bit and Cooks had to slow down a bit which gave the DB the chance to grab him. A better throw and it's an easy TD.

Everything about that game sucked. All of it. Most boring SB of all time.

That's why you use the RPO, a very easy system for a young limited QB to utilize. Makes his decisions easier and more obvious, thats why it is a college football staple and it is hard to stop even in the NFL.

With Goff literally dropping back 14 to 15 yards every ******* pass play I don't know how anyone could block for him. He regularly turned 3rd and 6 into a 3rd and 20 throw.

Was there when the Pirates won it in the early seventies. Duquesne U class of 75. Helluva party that Sunday night waiting for the team to come back from Baltimore. Steve Blass was the man. Connecticut guy I believe. heard he just retired from broadcasting their games.
 
The pirates won the world series and the Steelers won the superbowl in 1979. A very good year!
