OK Put me in the NFL is fixed camp

I offer constructive criticism

Come on. If it was rigged, the NFL would have done everything in its power to get a Rams-Chiefs video game rematch from earlier this year.

I dont know it is fixed, but it is full of incompetent officials that need to be replaced

Yeah I'm right there too. I don't know how it can be so fixed when there are so many moving parts, but I'm sure the refs help determine spread covers etc. The Chiefs were going to the Super Bowl if Dee Ford didn't have an inexplicable brain fart. If you watch the replay, the side judge is looking at him and throws the flag right when the ball snaps, way before Brady even released the ball. The roughing the passer was bad but I can see how they'd call it for The Golden Boy if their angle wasn't perfect with the way Brady's head got torqued a bit.

The no PI in the Saints game, I don't what to say about that.

Well the ref was lookin fer a grab or a hold. When the receiver got knocked out of the play he knew for sure neither took place.

:eyebrows:

That was a horrible roughing the passer call. I am not sure how you give that to the cheats.

How many other countless times has this been said about different plays......................in favore of the cheatriots.................. and yet many here call them the best ever........... add in the cheating and WhoAla (for wig) you have

RED HOT POKER

1. Because Jerome walked onto the field at training camp under the onus of one more year. Ben talked him out of retiring, we all pretty much knew it was his last hurrah.
2. The Patriots...patriotism...USA USA USA ! Flags flying, country stars writing anthems about putting boots in people's *****...the New York Jets? The New York football giants? Eh.

I'm really starting to thing it is all scripted. I **** you not, before the season, I told my Dad it will be Rams/Pats, because you can see the script. The NFL wants nothing more than to have an LA team in the Bowl, and against their golden boy Tommy.
How are the Rams under the salary cap after signing virtually every big name free agent, and giving record deals to Gurley and Donald? And in all seriously, how the **** cna Romo know EVERY SINGLE play before it happens? I hate to be a conspiracy theorist, but something's not passing the smell test.

Romo knows every play before it happens because he's not an idiot. These NFL teams keep hiring jimmy's brothers uncles cousin to run **** because he seems like a good guy, then that guy ends up washing some new offensive genius coaches nuts for a season, that coach goes to a superbowl, and a bunch of old dumb ******* who don't know **** about the sport they actually own a team in say "We need THAT GUY", and the stupid **** starts all over again.

Keep in mind the Browns kept a coach that won ONE game in two seasons, and then after they fire him mid season this year, the guy who takes over looks like a genius because, well, he's not a ******* moron. I mean, hell, look at our own team, we had Todd Haley, who by the way the Browns were smart enough to fire after less than a season, and he's still unemployed, but he had a job here because daddy worked for the Steelers. It's just a clusterfuck of an old boys network and no one has the stones to tell these owners to hire someone with a ******* brain to run the team ****, and stay the **** out of it.

It's not fixed it's a soap opera. Think of it as the WWE and working off a script.

The referees are playing too large of a role in the outcome of games for it NOT to be fixed. Plus, you have to see the storyline that will make the most money for the Super Bowl. Just a few off the top of my head...

1. the patriots in all of their red, white, blue after 9/11
2. The saints winning after Katrina
3. Bettis retiring in his home town
4. Lewis retiring a winner

Give me some good college football over this ****** NFL product any day. The only NFL event that I'm interested in is the draft. God bless college football.

The Pats winning after 9/11 was my first inkling that the league had taken a turn into choreographed WWE land.
Consider this........

The Tuck Rule made it's way into the public's vernacular for the first time EVER in the history of the NFL.
In what would have been a fumble in any other game ever, we get this nonsense instead.
Obviously on to Pittsburgh and every player on the Steelers they interviewed saying the day of the AFCC Game the Pats were calling out their signals before the play.
Then in the SB, the same thing. Rams players saying they're calling out the plays before they ran them.
Also, throw in the Cheats being introduced as team, rather than individual players, for the first time ever in the SB.
But to me, the most glaring thing nobody ever talks about.
Go back and watch Vinatieri's game winning FG.
The kick goes through the uprights, hits the net, and falls to the ground.........and there is THREE SECONDS still on the clock!
Now, I'm not exactly sure at what point they're supposed to officially stop the clock on a successful FG try, but there should have been a kickoff to the Rams with at least a few seconds on the clock.
I'm not saying the Rams would have scored, but they might have.
We'll never know, though.
I remember watching that game and SCREAMING at the top of my lungs that there wasn't a kickoff.
But the NFL just decided to run the clock out to 0:00 and Pats win!
I turned to my uncle at that moment, long before all the Spygate stuff surfaced, and said, "The fix is in! This week on 21!".....referencing the movie Quiz Show.
My uncle said back to me, "I think you're right. Too much magic and stars aligning and everything working out for the Pats. It's like we just watched a made for TV movie."
And we've been watching them ever since.

I'm hearing everything you're saying as the CHEATRIOTS have gotten way to many and way to often the "QUESTIONABLE" call. ADD in money man Kr*ft and his TV contributions through his giant cable company's and you have the single owner paying the NFL the absolutely most vs any other owner.......... Thus favoritism is created. I could bet assured there are "OWNERS" who ******* hate the "cheatriot way" as to how much they get away with and I bet there is some bitching about it to. But at the end of the day it's those BIG TV contracts that put approximately $267 million dollars total profit ( all bills / labor / rentals / flights/ ect. ect. PAID) into EACH owner's pocket annually. Not bad on return for a Billion dollar franchise. So the lip is bit a little on that noise of cheating. Many here could go on and on with greater detail but I'm sure my drift has been made..........................

Reactions: MTC
Andy Reid complaining that they were not warned pre-snap by the officials that Ford was lined up offsides. I had no idea they were supposed to get a warning - here is the rule - A player, after he has received a warning, enters into the neutral zone. It is a foul, even if he returns to a legal position prior to the snap without contacting an opponent or causing a reaction (movement) by an offensive player in close proximity.

Not only were they not warned, but apparently the ref had the flag locked and loaded -
“Normally, you’re warned and the coach is warned if somebody is doing that before they throw it in a game of that magnitude,” Reid told reporters. “But they did. And he didn’t waste any time in doing it.

“He didn’t wait until the interception to throw it. He had his hand on his flag right from the get go, and he saw it from his angle, and he thought it was the call.”

The player has to look to the sideline to receive the warning. If they don't look at the sideline judge, they won't get the warning. I did the same thing as a receiver.

I don't even know how long i fumed about the "tuck rule" saving the fumble by marcia. They should never have went to that SB let alone won it. Choreography is what i call it. A nudge here, an assist there, can go a long ******* way to sealing a successful season. Some well coached, disciplined teams need little more to go to the big dance repeatedly. Aka the cheats.

Well said, with you there.

Yeah me too.
Used to piss my high school coach off cause I'd have that trouble at receiver.
Finally put me at safety full time which is where I felt comfortable.

Hated playing offense

Reid said they normally warn the coach before they call that.
