Bama vs Clemson Part Whatever

I watched the All-American high school game Saturday and top recruit after top recruit announced they picked Bama. I wonder how many of them are second guessing themselves? It is what it is. Winning might be everything to those kids but now they’re realizing it’s not guaranteed. Wouldn’t be surprised at all if some of them bail on Bama.

Possibly

43 points given up by Bama.
This is some twilight zone stuff going on

Everybody memory holes that Saban's defenses for years have been torched when they face a good QBs with weapons. The SEC has been run heavy, particularly by it's top teams like LSU, Auburn, and Georgia, so Bama is rarely challenged by good pass games in the SEC.

In this very thread, i was dismissed as being a hater for pointing out how Bama's pass defense ddin't look good in their last 2 games vs Georgia and Oklahoma.

I've been saying on here for a while I hope that Steelers go 0-16 in 2020 so they can draft Lawrence with the first pick.

I still think Tua is going to be quite good but Lawrence is ******* 6-6 and do you see any pressure on the kids face whatsoever? He's super poised. That last TD throw was a pro throw in the red zone.....just over the D backs hands right into the radius of the widelut in stride.....and he did that throw on his back foot under pressure. How good is the kid going to be in 2 years? Clemson could win three in a row. First true freshman to win a championship in a gazillion years. Trevor (gay first name if you ask me) had 44 TDs and 1 INT as a senior in high school....I know it's high school but really?

So I say trade Brown, Ben, DeCastro, Heyward, and Tuitt (keep JuJu) and go 0-16 in two years

I take back what I said earlier about Ohio State. Clemson is the best team. I wasn't 100% on Trevor Lawrence as a true freshman but that kid his ice water in his veins. Not rattled for a second by a big game.

Clemson is good but Bama is calling some retarded plays. Did Haley come in as a special advisor for Bama this week? That 4th down play looked like a Haley play.....run from the three on fourth down down by four TDs

Haha! I gotcha dude.
The SEC does play good defensive/running games.
The conference is based on the big boys in the trenches.

A good passing attack and having a stout line on both sides of the ball helps to beat teams in the SEC.
You called it.

He would look good in the B&G no doubt

I think Tua is gonna turn it over here

Ben wins a SB nexy year and retires. They play like **** in this kids Junior year and draft him. Never happen. I cant even remember the Steelers getting a top 5 pick much less 1. On Lawrence's current trajectory he will be 1.

Bama fans shouldn't feel bad. This just means they will start next year at #2

Saban is in his 60s. Can you imagine how much money they will offer Bama alum Dabo Swinney to take over when Saban retires?

As much as I hate Saban, the way he coaches these kids, the expectations for perfection, and their annual performance will keep Bama in the mix for a National Championship for a long time coming. Plus, Saban routinely puts multiple players into the NFL, that is probably as important if not more important than winning a national championship.

Final Power 5 bowl records:
ACC 6-5
B1G 5-4
Big 12 4-3
SEC 6-6
Pac 12 3-4

no clear cut winner like last year

Bowl results are meaningless, pretty much any bowl except the playoffs are meaningless and does not take into account teams that have starters sit out to stay healthy/prepare for the combine.
