I think is Ben's decision who stays and doesn't at least in the offensive side of Steelers football, that includes coaches and players

Great move! It’s not like we have the next Patrick Mahomes waiting in the wings. Four more years of Big Ben suits me fine. Now we can get rid of ABoob and add some young talent around Ben.
If anyone can play until 40 it’s Ben. Especially when you have guys like Brady and the midget Brees playing at that age.

I would agree, but if that's true Arians never would've gotten fired, and Haley wouldn't have been hired.

I'm talking right now, not back then. They did Ben a big favor getting rid of Arians as his career would have been shortened with all the hits he was receiving due to the playcalls.

Who doesn't remember those 3rd downs going 5 wide with minimun protection and slow developed routes? half of those plays ended up in sacks

If it also means 4 more years of Tomlin, I'm against it. If there's one thing the Tomlin era has shown me, four more seasons aren't going to change the lack of discipline, lack of preparation, and the endless distractions from the me-first players.

So now we draft a WR # 1?

Woo-hoo!

I thought that was a given, Steelers admit they are willing to trade him now, its all over the headlines

Wild speculation is the norm for SN, roll with it, lol

I agree it was good getting rid of Arians.

unless you get equal value or several picks back for ben its just best to patch up and raise the anti in free agency by shoring up at CB FS OLB DT

DRAMA never ends

Steelers Reportedly Willing To Listen To Offers For Antonio Brown

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The NFL Network is reporting that the Pittsburgh Steelers are expected to consider trade requests for disgruntled Pro Bowl wide receiver Antonio Brown prior to the start of free agency on March 14.

thank you Ben.

Great news, though not surprising. This also gives the team time to develop the young QBs so hopefully one will be ready to go whenever Ben is ready to retire. I wouldn't mind if the team hired a QB coach to focus on Rudolph and Dobbs as well as be another offensive mind to have on the team. It would be a good opportunity for a young, up and coming coach.

That makes me feel better. I was hoping he wouldn't retire.

Dittos. Now if Shades gets another extension I'm going to look for a bridge to jump off of.

I will judge Ben's will to get another title by the contract size. Not saying he has to get screwed, but less than market value would help. Brady has done that. Ben has made a ton. Should want to Elway out.
