Wondering what other people's opinion of locker room sources is. My personal opinion is that they are POS. This situation with AB is bad. Dont get me wrong. And must be dealt with. However, it would be a lot easier and have a whole lot more options without public airing of the laundry. You can Damn well bet that any locker room with Jack Lambert and Terry Bradshaw had some **** going on too. You just didn't know about it.

this is the world we live in now. Realty TV at the forefront gets people talking and this in effect snowballs into something where someone needs to make a move. I see this as a move against the coaching staff. No one wants to come right out and be that person so air the laundry out and have the media push someone into a corner

I agree 100% damn near as bad as the bad behavior itself. Just another sign of the extent that Tomlin has lost the locker room. Cant just let him handle it. Got make it public and paint the team into a corner.

Well, don't forget that the era's are so vastly different with what is available to our eyes and ears now versus then.

I will reiterate my lack of confidence in unnamed sources.

Obviously the amount of access has increased 20 fold. I also agree. Go on the record if you have something to say. I just really hate this ****. Very avoidable. No reason to get everyone painted in a corner.

I'm not a particular fan of a player in the locker room speaking as an unnamed source. However, it's more irritating to have one of the top players in the league acting like a clown, thus prompting reporters to get locker room sources.

The Steelers have always been a pretty tight lipped organization. How awful does that locker room have to be that guys are now willing to so openly speak with reporters, refer to the team as the Kardashians...etc.

And then before the season another player acting like a clown, then last season yet another player acting like a clown.

A car filled with clowns can take their queue from the ringleader.

Ladies and gentlemen the greatest show on earth.

Let us entertain you !

And Tomlin allows this to happen. Tomlin has NO control of his team or the locker room. As much as we all know it won't happen, this is the ultimate proof that Tomlin must go before we even sniff another championship.

I agree. The locker room source is as damning as any of it besides losing to Oakland AGAIN!!!

"Locker room sources"= Hopes, Lies and Bull ****!

wait, we really lost to Oakland? I thought that was just a dream.

Funny more reporters covering Steelers than the teams that made the playoffs. Makes for a lot of resentment in players and fans.

I think it's a sign of frustration. People want things to be different.

If the source was Heyward Bey it's probably more like long term frustration and resentment of AB. He knows he is not getting another contract here so it was a shot on the way out. I have no problem embarrassing AB, but it limits the teams options and backs everyone into the corner when it becomes public knowledge.
