Avery Williamson, and Earl Thomas are the two that I’d really like to keep my eye on. Think those two alone would really go a long ways to making the defense much more formidable. What’s our cap room looking like, and who do we have with expiring contracts? I thought Haden was only a two year deal, but I may be wrong.

We have enough for two upgrades to be brought in IMO. Brown probably wouldn't cost the farm on top of that.
 
I thought Williamson signed a 3 year deal this year?

Not sure of his status. I would rather draft a speed /production player. And they should be able to get one at the 20 spot.

Dennard could be one of those solid low-key types like Farrior and Ryan Clark. Guy showed promise, especially the last two years, but had a stacked deck in front of him as the bungholes are always drafting corners. Could probably be had on the cheap-ish end, and seems to be a solid tackler. Not shutdown, by any means, but would easily challenge Haden for #1 on this team.

I like Dennard a lot. I like how he matches up against Juju and Me-firstonio Brown. He has done well keeping both them in check
 
Might be able to get Ronald Darby for a good price coming off injury.

D could use a cocky play-maker in the deep secondary, That secondary would be instantaneously better with that addition.
 
I'm not sure how much Steve McClendon has left, but he could perhaps provide some DL depth.

He was an underrated player with the Steelers.
