Draft position

Think they will still take that bottom barrel free agency approach?
They're ******* idiots if they do, I don't expect them to sign the top free agent, but they need an upper tier guy, we don't have time to wait for a rookie to figure it out

I am thinking a FS and a CB. Not overconfident they will bench Williams/Bostic. Or change the scheme.

For the off-season to have any chance of being a success Butler needs to go. Hire someone to help Tomlin on the field. Then smack the **** out of anyone in the draft room that wants to reach for a player in 1.

We desperately need a pass rusher opposite of Watt too, especially if we are going to continue with that trash 2 Dlinemen scheme

I was thinking Butler goes the ****** scheme goes with him. If I was Rooney I would make that clear.

You can go DL in 1 and upgrade the push up front. Heyward is a solid player, but if they can find a star at the position that could alter pressure schematics. But again that won't work if they are two DL'in it.

I don't know, that looks alot like a Tampa 2 to me. I'd love to get Gregg Williams in here from the Browns. A DC that's been in the league and knows how to defend some of these QBs

Yeah I want to get away from the 2DL. 3 or 4 is the proven scheme. For the here and now.

I think a DC that is allowed to be left alone could really help this team.

Can they rescind Dupree's option? Really don't want to see the team pay him that kind of money next year.

That money could go to a free agent Defensive End that can rush the passer and go to a real 4-3 with tuitt hargrave heyward and FA , then Watt, fort/Thomas/Vince and a draft pick to complete the front 7.
Throw big money on a FA CB like they did with Haden and we are ready to kick some ***. (As long as they keep Tomlin away from D duties)

Yes, they just cut him before he's owed that money. Won't owe him a dime after that.

I'm seeing a couple of inside LBs in some of the early mocks going to us at #20, Devin Bush and Devin White. Anyone know anything about them?
