Good game plan, refs jobbed us, individual fuckups. No issue with the fake punt, we still should have won. Can't **** up against a good team. Solid effort all around,
The fake punt was as big of a **** up as any fumble. That “fumble” happened on our 40 yard line with us having a 4 point lead.
Last time I checked I’m pretty sure we didn’t just have one crucial fumble but two. I’m also pretty sure Tomlin didn’t fumble the ball.
I ain't mad about any of it. I was mad when they lost to the Raiders. Got over it pretty quick. Last few years, I have slowly lost interest in the Steelers and the NFL as a whole. Just a lot less emotional investment. As a part of that, my expectations seem to be much lower. These things sting a lot less that way.
-Tomlin sucks
-Butter hands Ridely sucks
- Nfl officiating sucks and has for quite some time
Nothing new to see.
In the end we got in our own way. I can argue that NO were gifted a TD or two, but when key moments mattered the Steelers beat themselves
I'm with you on emotional investment. This isn't fun anymore. I could roll.out a list a mile long of reasons why. Mostly because I don't believe in it anymore. It's been a 15 year slow cook.
Who put the player in that situation? A player who was released from his previous team for fumbling?

He was released because of a bad knee injury. Nobody seemed to complain about his “fumbling” issues when we signed him last year and has ran well when he’s been called upon. Matter of fact I don’t remember anybody ever mentioning he had fumbling problems with any other team. But I guess if it helps you “prove” your case that Tomlin should be fired then let’s go for it.
