Keeping it all in perspective

The dreadful irony? The Rats could lose next week and Tomlin will STILL have a stupid game plan against the Bengals ensuring amother loss to an under performing team.

The bungles are a hot mess. They aren't beating anyone. The game is at Heinz field as well not on the west coast. The Steelers will beat the bungles.

They changed some games to 4:25 next week including Steelers and Ravens games. If the Rats win I would rather the Steelers lose if it helps in the draft pick. This way Tomlin can select someone in the first that is projected 2nd or 3rd rounder like Edmunds. Maybe he finds Artie Burns twin brother in the first.

Perspective...
Covering the Chargers BEST WR with a linebacker over and over and over again.

Perspective, refusing to establish a running game against one of the WORST run defenses in the league.

Perspective, Tomlin got his all-important non-losing season, ensuring MORE of this ****.

Perspective, Tomlin had to bring in a substitute coach to tell him the most rudimentary defensive concepts in order to compete with the cheats.

Perspective, yet another wasted year...

Perspective, NOT a game manager.

No way would I be on line with the Steelers tanking on purpose for draft positioning.

Has there ever been such a wasted HOF QB ever, with such a talented team, in the NFL. There is NO excuse as to this loss because if the shittiest team in the NFL can beat us why wouldn't the BEST team in the NFL beat us???

If by chance we make the "PLAYOFFS". Does that exonerate Mr. Cool-shades???? FAK

Salute the nation

Dan Marino...maybe?

I think you can look at Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay like Ben in Pittsburgh.

Ravens are a lot better this season and playing at home.

They are better, but I think Cincy beat them at home in final game last year.

Everything evens out in the end. No one complained last year when we went 13-3, and won a shitload of games on last minute FG’s by Boswell.

This year, things evened out. We only got “beat” in two games this year (and snuck by with a win in one). Every other game came down to one play here or there. Just accept it for what it is.

Hind sight is 20/20 and everyone thinks they can call he perfect game. The reality is we have been “in” every single game this year. The ball (or the calls) just haven’t gone in our favor.

Maybe we make the playoffs, but there is a good possibility we don’t. We’ll see next week. In the meantime, quit looking for a scapegoat and accept the fact that like 31 other teams, this won’t be our year. A SB championship isn’t our birthright.

The perspective is simple, we clusterfucked away the season. This team shot itself in the foot instead of winning football games they had in hand. They need to come back with some added pieces and review some of the ****** game plans and strategies that don't work and get those the **** out of our playbook.

I was bitching last year about us playing ****** zone defense and only rushing 3 vs Stafford, while he lit us up, same with Green Bay and a QB named Hundley, who surprise surprise had his best game against us.

Super Bowl? ****! I wasn’t the biggest fan of Bill Cowher, but he had much less of a QB for the majority of his career and his shortcoming was often the AFC Championship. Tomlin’s is the wildcard and divisional round. Cowher occasionally underachieved, while its the norm with Tomlin.

No way “tanking” if there is still a very real chance to win AFCN.

The reality is a win but not winning the Division is big picture worst outcome for Steelers —period.

That is a great question to direct to Art II. He seems content with NO losing seasons.

Honestly, this is ARII's crossroads.

It's not Dan Rooney's team anymore. It's on him. It's also his fault it's come to this - I believe Tomlin's time as come and gone; I like Munchak but let's evaluate what's out there.

I'm done defending Tomlin. I don't care about winning records and being good -- life is too short to just be good ESPECIALLY when your platform is established for you to be GREAT. He didn't pressure Tomlin as much as coddle him and it's time to make him accountable. Another head coach, a carefully selected one with more experience as an assistant should be leading the Steelers next year.
