Well I don't know about anyone else but I am truly sick to my ******* stomach! This team is too G'damn talented to be a bubble team or a .500 team. A hard fought game, a season defining game ends in total heartbreak as our Steelers fall to 8-6-1 and are now the #8 team on the outside looking in. Steelers were in this position because of losses to piss poor teams like the Raiders, Broncos, & Clowns and ****** kicking all season by Bozwell....59% accuracy isn't going to win us many games and it cost us three games this season. Our Defense certainly played hard but when it mattered most our Defense didn't make enough plays and turnovers and ultimately cost us the game. I really don't understand why Ridley was in the game when he fumbled and I hated that Fake Punt call in our own territory on 4th & 5 with 4 minutes to go in the game! Bad call by Tomlin, you made it too easy for Brees. I would have rather tried to pin Brees & company deep.I saw two really bad officiating calls one of the 1st QTR the PI on Haden was one of the worst calls I've ever seen in my life. Also the PI on 4th & 2 pass play....the WR runs right into Haden about 3 yds off the line of scrimmage.....WTF is Haden supposed to do there he was trying to fight him off of him he couldn't tell if it was a run play of pass play at that point. I don't have much else to add but I really don't see anyway The Clowns can go into Baltimore and beat them. This team really has the talent to go deep in the playoffs too when they play as a team. Another season of underachieving and another year closer to retirement.....sorry Ben but you deserve a better Defense. You'd have 5 or 6 Lombardis if our Defense was better. MERRY ******* CHRISTMAS STEELER NATION!

Game Balls:
Ben Roethlisberger - 33 for 50 380 yds 3 TD's. I feel for this guy because Tomlin has neutered our Defense to the point of swiss chees and Ben is the guy who's getting the short end of the stick! It's reminds me of Dan Marino.
Antonio Brown - 14 rec 185 yds 2 TD's - His best statistical game all season....he came to play but just came up short.
TJ Watt - Played the game today like a man possessed
Heyward, Tuitt, Hargrave - Good pressure up front from the D-line

Game Goats:
Sean Davis - This guy took several terrible angles on too many plays....none bigger than the screen to Kamara at the end of the 2nd QTR with 30 seconds remaining.....leading to a last second FG for the Saints.
Stevan Ridley - His fumble cost us BIG TIME! Steelers were in FG range and driving......I don't know why Ridley is even on the G'damn roster!

FU's:
**** THE REFS - WTF I'm still in disbelief on the PI on Haden in the endzone in the 1st QTR.....he barely touched him. Also Haden got ****** again by the refs on the 4th & 2 late in the game (I STILL THINK THAT BALL WAS TIPPED AT THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE)! OFFICIATING DEFINITELY DETERMINED THE OUTCOME OF THIS ONE! **** THE REFS!

**** you to whoever thought it was a good idea to turtle up on 3rd and 2 with a goalline offense with a RB (Ridley) who hadn't even touch the GD ball when you had been KILLING their D with 4 and 5 wide!!

**** YOU!

Yeah that was the most crucial play of the game for me. I don't care about the fake punt. We shouldn't of been put in that position because they were having fits trying to cover AB and Juju most crucial point in the game and you hand it off to Ridley?????

I assume it was Fichtner and that's disappointing considering he's probably the second best coach on our sideline besides Munchak.

I would love love to know whose idea that was.

Tomlin was and still is the goat.

Could he have red flagged that fumble or not? That was a fumble! Our ball. And that stupid fake punt, up 4 points in our end of the field? Maybe if it was 4th and 1. But not a the distance Nix needed.

Sooner or later, I think the real goat may be Art Rooney for not firing Tomlin and pissing away Ben's prime.

Game Balls:
Ben
AB
TJ
The defense actually was pretty good except for some untimely penalties.
ST's blocked a FG and Boz didn't miss any.

Goats:
Ridley
JuJu
Haden

FU:
Refs, although they made bad calls on both sides. How do you miss a NO touchdown when it happens right in front of you?

I'm going conspiracy mode here, but I'm guessing they wanted the Steelers to have as little time as possible to score.
Officiating sucked. But we did have a chance

Davis doesn't lead our team in missed tackle for nothing. Yes he did get his 1st interception of the year, on what had to be Brees worst decision and throw all year.

That wasn't Brees who threw the int

I will have plenty to say about the strategy, but still at the end of the day the refs are making this **** hard to stomach.

Goats:
JuJu
Haden

I've gotta disagree on these 2. JuJu played with more heart than anyone today. You could tell he was hurting all game, but was still a major factor in offense's success. And Haden was mugged more by the officials than NO's wrs were by him.

Speechless. I know calls go both ways, but PI for first TD, and i also believe ball was tipped.

Nightmares of Mendenhall and Touisant......

FU to another season of under-performing.
