It MAY not be a 35 point defeat only because the Cheaters give Ernie Adams the week off since they're playing the Steelers.
 
Will be nice but does not erase this loss, the poor coaching and the ridiculous amount of time garbage like Vince Williams and Bostic cover WRs and TEs. We are not winning championships with Tomlin and Butler so beating a Pats team that =Tanneyhill and a bad dolphins team beat is not exactly earth shattering this year. Jut more false hopes and sparing of firing the incompetent imbecile Tomlin.
 
Well first I will have to clean the **** out of my pants. Look the Pats lost today. Tell me the last time they lost two in a row in December. Win convincingly. Really c'mon. That simply is not going to happen. Could they win. Well I guess anything is possible but quite honestly straight up I'd gladly put 1000 bucks that they will not.

It will be no different than tonight and every other year. Play good and beat good teams but lose to the cellar dwellers.
 
IF and I mean a huge IF we somehow beat the pats, it would be like the superbowl for this team. So i would expect a huge let down the following week vs the saints where we lose by 50 ending the season officially. Maybe if Tomlin beats the pats next week, he'll just decide to hang it up cause that's pretty much his ultimate goal year in and year out.
 
Is Brady not playing? Do you have inside info? We couldn't figure out how to cover a #1 wr last week when he was in this slot. This week we can't cover guys I've never heard of.
This is like Christmas morning when Brady watches our game tape.

I'll change my tune a bit, if we get the **** out of that garbage 2 DL set, dress an extra DLINEMEN if need be, get Vince and Bostic the **** off the field vs NE, dress 92 and let him play alot, Dupree sucks anyways, but that won't happen. We'll be in that trash D formation giving Brady all day to step up into the pocket

New England will line up Gronk wide and Edelmen in the slot and our Steelers will put Haden on Gronk and Edelmen will tear up the middle of the field going against Fort, Williams, Dupree, Bostic, Watt.

Pats will hang 50 on the Steelers next week. And the week after can you imagine Michael Thomas or Kamara lined up against a LB'er in the slot? Brees could score 60+

This Steelers season is over! Best thing to happen would be for the Steelers to loose out the last 3......a 7-8-1 record should give us a Top 15 pick. Possibly trade up if we a gem of a player like a Polamalu.
 
After dropping the game today, there is NO WAY Marsha & Bill don’t put up 40+, might even happen by halftime.

SMH, beat the *Patsies when we just got beat by a 2 win team...…………….. Barring a ridiculous rash of injuries to their offense, this team we saw today has no shot to beat them. Never mind the complete idiots making the decisions on a down to down basis. But, to play along, some will go right back to la la land thinking all is well and we're a SB contender. I'll stay in reality and call it what it will be, better than losing to those *** hats.
 
Belicheck had a huge brain fart today. He put in his hail mary defense with the ball on the Dolphins 31 and no way can tanneyhill throw it 70 plus yards. That took out his quicker faster DBs and let the lumbering Gronk chase after Drake on the play, huge mistake from the greatest head coach since Noll

Would you not make all the players sit and watch that? Maybe have a Joe Greene or Mel Blount come in and ask them what they were so proud of? Let them understand that making a play is expected, not celebrated? Let them know that missing a play is unacceptable? A Steeler game in the 70s would be about 6 hours long if they celebrated every good defensive play.
 
Tomlin is 2-7 against the Bellichek and hasn't beaten him since 2011.

Even if Ben has a great game and puts up 35 points, I don't see this defense stopping Brady, he could hang 60 on us and I wouldn't be surprised.

We could very well beat the Pats, but I’ve lost confidence in this team. I don’t think they have the mental toughness and/or the talent to make a deep run into the playoffs. Right now, they’re just an “also ran” like many other teams - definitely not the cream of the crop like we once thought.

Do we all remember the last game against them, when they needed some points quickly and just fed it to Gronk right up the middle, like 50000 times in a row? We changed nothing. Sound familiar?

At least that game was close, I have a bad feeling about this one. Brady's arm definitely is losing some zip but it won't matter when his wrs are open 5 yards downfield

Under Tomlin it seems the opponent almost doesn't matter. The steelers either play well and win or make a ton of mistakes and lose and either outcome is possible against the best or worst team in the league.

It really wouldn't surprise me if they beat the Pats but the big win is already negated by losing to the raiders, choking away a win vs the chargers and the ridiculous tie vs the browns. So they can beat the pats and then still end up as the 3 or 4 seed then going into foxboro in the playoffs and laying an egg.
