Remember early in the season when we talked about how bad the defense was. Around game 5 (against Atlanta, they seemed to get things together for about five weeks). Looks like that was fool’s gold. Now we see that the defense is as bad as originally thought.

People want to get rid of Tomlin for failed opportunities with a talented roster. Maybe we’re not as talented as we think we are. Our offense hasn’t been the problem.

Our lack of a defense has been evident since the final days of Dick LeBeaux. Maybe, as a team, we’re just not as good as we think we are.

The thinking is Tomlin has his hands all in this D.

But regardless there is enough other problems going on to point a finger at the head coach.

BTW it was Tomlin's call to keep Ben out of the game just confirmed.

****** lack of timeouts letting the Raiders milk the clock.

And 10 seasons of embarrassing finishes.

Tomlin needs to go.

But won't.

Tomlin's Tampa Two ***** away another game,

I knew we were DOOMED when the announcer said on their last drive that it was up to the DEFENSE to WIN the game

Bwahahahaha, they are PATHETIC, weak as piss and can't stop anybody in the 4th qtr

oh yeah, the KICKER SUCKS TOO!

So who is responsible for drafting and signing defensive players?

Who is responsible for putting those marginal players in the best position to succeed?

Who is responsible for game management and making adjustments to take advantage of the opponents weaknesses?

What's sickening is that even though it is unlikely it is still possible that we finish behind the Browns that had won only one game in two years, and we still would have to keep watching Tomlin on the sideline. let that sink in for a minute

I thought the offense was fine considering that we didn't have Connor (and Bell) and were without Ben for the 3rd quarter. JuJu had a hell of a game.
The defense is who we thought they were, awful.

Edmunds sucks. He is NOT a first round draft pick talent. Burns sucks!

I see other teams and they have play makers... and we have a Tomlins buddies.

Yep! Edmunds was a far reach that almost all scouting services had as a late round pick. I’ll never understand that pick where we could have still drafted a legit first round talent.

I thought he had talent /bloodline. But so far the early results aren't attractive.

The most mind numbing thing is that about 5-6 weeks ago this defense really looked like it was coming together. But at that point they were crowding the line and bringing big blitzes. They dont do that anymore. Anyone know why?

I also don't recall them covering #1 WR's with a LB.
