NFL December Football- Last year It was Jesse James......

I see you have that poking stick out again. The reality is you me and him have no idea what goes on behind the scenes.

We do know there is a shitload of bad calls. Maybe that is just bad refs with no agenda. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't.

But when posters who normally don't mentioned the refs. Start wondering WTF is going on.

I don't think it is a extreme to contemplate the idea that something is going on.

One thing we do know, cheating has taken place in the NFL and it has gone to extremes.

So it is rational cheating is going on in other forms.

hi

Ok? You want some nicorette gum, too?

Are you suggesting the NFL is doing its best to make sure the team nobody in Los Angeles cares about succeeds?

Well, if it's all about money (which it always is), The Los Angeles Chargers succeeding and perhaps getting to and winning a Super Bowl is not a bad idea. Los Angeles has a huge population and there are so many fair-weather fans out here that they'll be planting their ***** in seats in that shiny new stadium they're constructing if they know they're a Super Bowl or playoff winner.

One thing I find interesting in a country that people have killed people for money, they find it a impossibility someone can put a fix in for monetary gain.

When you win a lot fans buy, money flies.

I don't necessarily think it is a league wide issue. But I don't shelf ideas that one or two individuals could be up to no good.

I came to the conclusion years ago that the NFL has morphed into the entertainment business. At that time I believed that the collection of owners were willing to use the refs to try and get some of the teams some love. Since they got away with it, it gave them permission to do it more, and now we are here. As the NFL became the new WWE, I have stepped away, and I am now only a somewhat invested fan. Years ago, I would still be pissed today, but without investment, it no longer matters.

I get this. It sucks. Something that was so huge in the lives of my family is just lame now. Feels like a rip off.

Seems that way very recently.
As the new bargaining agreement began, it's just been downhill since.

If any of you remember the "time out" guy who had the orange sleeve. He was in charge of TV time outs and was to call them fair to both sides..................worked great for years but then SOMEONE (big money) decided they could manipulate a little and the fans wouldn't catch on. Pretty soon it was amazing how the TV time outs started to favor certain teams and critical times of the game. Pretty soon it became very obvious and BIG MONEY was able to find better ways of manipulation. The "FIX" has been here for quite some time and it's nothing new. I, like many others here, watch less and less football. It hasn't been a do or die game for a long time now and many are seeing through the "FIX"ation of the game.

WAY to much $$$$$$$$$$$$ involved for it to just play out honest chance.
